I like your videos and the way you explain everything very calmly. I am currently in the market for purchasing my first emtb. I rented one in Austria last year and was completely sold. I have been driving a Specialized Stumpjumper with great pleasure for 9 years and it is time for replacement. The Trek Rail 9.8 and the Specialized Turbo Levo Comp are on my shortlist. Did you both ride these emtbs and which one do you prefer? Are there other models that you would recommend. I am 1.94 m tall and weigh just above 100 kg. I mainly drive in the Netherlands and a few times a year in the Belgian Ardennes, Germany or Austria

  9. Hi iam 5.8 so between sizes. how did you find the medium and what height are you ? thanks

    Very nice review well done

  11. Great Review.

  12. Great video! Could you please mention the seat tube angle? It looks quite slack

  13. Great channel. I dig that you wear whatever you want, just like the origins of mountain biking. Please go to Amazon Prime and watch "Klunkerz" it is the true history of mountain biking told by the legends themselves. ALL riders should know the roots of the sport and way of life.

  14. Nordmenn som prater engelsk LMFAO xD

  15. Nice review. I wish Trek would bring 29 wheels and the new bosch motor to their short travel bikes. Btw, that’s some great camera work, awesome job.

  16. Motor Noise? Heard it sounds bad like chain splap all the time any one know noisy compared to old powerfly bosch motor?

  17. Nice review. Thank you.
Can you please review the CUBE STEREO HYBRID 140 HPC SL 625 29?

  18. At 7:01, did someone intentionally block the trail with a barricade?

  19. Thanks alot for the informative videos! I am trying to decide between the Trek Rail 7 and the Mondraker Crafty R. Which one would you recommend? They are both available for the same price and seem to ride similarly as well.

  20. Great review. Getting tired of Specialized dominating the market on EMTB. Glad to see some finally talk about the Trek Rail.

  21. is trek selling it frame and shocks only

  22. Can you un restrict the top speed ?

  23. Nice review, I like your way of explaining "things" !

  24. Could do without the mouth noise

  25. better than Merida one sixty ?

  26. That motor sounds a bit loud to me. I think the brose motor leads the way quietness. I may be wrong.

    bike looks small for you

  28. Great video – currently split between the 2021 Trek Rail 9.7 (not 9.8) and the 2020 CUBE ActionTeam hybrid 140- love to know your opinion as to which is better thanks!

  29. 7:59 what pants are you wearing please – Alpinestars Tahoe? and are they good?

  30. TREK RAIL 9.8 = 7.199 €
    FOCUS JAM2 6.7 NINE = 4.299 €

  31. Thanks for the review. I am trying to decide between this and Specialized Turbo Levo S-Works which is their top of the line bike. Which one would you recommend? I do lots of climbs so I will get tired so quickly and have to leave the trail.

  32. Great review.Really helpful……and thanks for doing it in English..:))

Magníficos videos, lástima que no estén en español o al menos con subtitulos.

  34. so which one to go to.. new old stock powerfly of this one?

  35. The reason In-tube battery bikes are heavier is that the battery case is aluminium and not plastic, like the frame mount batteries (also the minimum capacity is 500Wh, whereas the frame mount type can go as low as 300Wh).

I noticed that you didn’t mention that all Bosch bikes can use any of the displays available from Bosch. If you don’t like the Purion (which I don’t, because of the lack of information) you can always pay for the Kiox to be fitted.

Someone email or call text these e bike companies to put or make the innertubes all rubber. It will be less obstacles for the bikers ??

  37. *It’s perfect for my commutes◔◔>>**ã‚ŒO** All in all,we’re really pleased with this purchase. Here are some of the pros and cons.*

  38. Does the knock block limit the bike in technical sections?

  39. badass bike.

  40. Google Profile 6 December 7, 2020 @ 8:56 pm

Nice bike but probably too expensive lol

  41. What about that shock? Wondering if it’s better than a Fox DPX2 or Superdeluxe. Planning to buy Rail 9.7 and improving the shock and fork with new damper.

  42. Nice bike!!!

  43. No bike is worth 5,000 grand 500 yeah maybe

  44. Can you comment on how quiet/ noisy the bike is on descents both chainslap and or engine mech noise, thanks.

  45. I demo rode a Rail 7 last weekend. Like you can hear in this video, the motor had a noisy, grainy sound to it and overall the bike had a lot of chatter. As good as the bike was (better than my 2019 Powerfly 7) the sounds coming from the Rail bike left me concerned about longevity and had me questioning the quality. The Rail was clearly faster, more agile, the better performance experience – more like an MTB feel than eMTB as with the Powerfly 7 if that makes sense. By comparison, the Powerfly 7 felt more solid and secure on the trail, like it was able to go the distance. As fun as the Rail was, and it was faster over the same loop, I would hesitate buying one given the quality concerns.
