  1. At the beginning of September 2020 I was on a sales phone call with M… from Flyride USA who claimed to be the COO of the company he was trying to sell me an electric Bulls bike. I asked him about the known problem Bulls e-bikes have with the Brose motor. He assured me that Bulls has no defects with their Brose motor. He further informed me that it was only SPECIALIZED e-bike (which I wanted to buy from him in the first place) that had "bad motor" issue due to their dumb tampering with the motor software. So based on his recommendation I bought a 2019 Bulls E-Stream EVO AM 4 (S Mag) Black matt/grey 49cm which I received on Sep-05-2020. After riding the bike for less than 500 miles the Brose motor suddenly jammed and locked and threw me off the bike causing me serious injury to my knees and elbows. It seems the motor belt got broken after being jammed inside the sealed motor which was exactly the known defect I inquired about and was told “it did not exist”. I also had more than 5 different parts failure with the braking system and the e-bike frame hinges which was another disaster. I communicated all the bad news back to the COO of Flyrides USA. He completely & utterly refused to solve these serious defects and blocked me from receiving phone calls to his mobile number and referred my emails to "the company lawyers". Now, the new Bulls e-bike has been sitting at my neighborhood bike shop for the last 55 days with its completely disabled motor while all my $5,500 investment was turned to waste toped with pain and suffering of my injury. This is the worst experience bike experience I’ve had in my life and I’ve never been lied to in such a massive way ever. I highly recommend not dealing with this company. You have been informed.

  2. I absolutely love seeing a class 3 speed motor in an EMTB. Like you have indicated, this is the only one (for the exception of the Trek Police Electric-Not available to the general public). I hope to see these speed motors in more EMTB moving forward. Not sure why some of the mfgs don’t make it available as an option for an upgrade. Nice bike with that Brose’ whisper quiet motor. Like your demo Court!

  3. I think its ridiculous that we’re restricted to 15mph, if road bikes regularly reach 30+mph, why the restriction on a bike that weighs considerably more.
    Nice review Court.

  4. Nice bike. Thanks for the review. If only all the trails allowed class 3 ebikes. I am looking for a class 1 ebike. Are you going to review the 2019 Bulls E-STREAM EVO AM 3 27.5 + with the awesome 750 Wh battery? That’s the bike I have my eye on.

  5. Best E mountain bike available today? Servicing always a big worry.

  6. Kick stand and cheapest pedals on 5k mtb bike? Wtf?

  7. how about those cheap arse pedals on a $5000 bike. Terrible

  9. Alternativ 45+ Full Suspension Bikes on the Mark? What is the Max Range from the Bike ?

Thinking about bying this bike too, but i’m not sure of what size to choose!?
    I’m 5 foot 7", 65kg. What’s your suggestion, 44 or 49 cm?
What size are you? Was this the right size for you?

  11. Does this bike have mudguard bosses?

  12. I just bought the BULLS E-STREAM EVO 45 AM and am loving it! Hitting trails and commuting to work daily on it. Best money I have spent in a long time. Everyone who tries it has the same reaction. First no assist, see how the bike rolls. Then I turn it up to level 4 and they take a few pedals and start giggling like a child. My commute is fairly flat, so I’m averaging 20-26 mph without breaking a sweat (minimal effort). Not breaking a sweat was the point in selecting this as also a commuter bike.

As for trail fun, I’ll never go back. Sure, it’s heavier, but I’m not carrying the damn thing, I’m riding it. I’m cranking up hills far easier than a traditional bike and covering WAY more ground in the same amount of time. And at 50-something this is saving my knees for a lot more years of riding. Like I said, I’ll never go back.

  13. I just purchased a 41 for myself for Christmas.
Monkey lights, dropper post included for $4,300.00 plus tax.
    Couldn’t say no..
Crazy Lenny’s has these on sale right now.

  14. What is the bike real weight?

  15. Thanks for this great review! From a trail / single track perspective does this bike handle well compared to a similar class 1 bike? Looking for the extra legs to get to trails but still need something that handles well once off road. Cheers

Loved your review of the Bulls E-Stream evo 45 FS. I am about to buy an e-bike or speed pedelec,
your review convinced me to go for the SP. Thanks and keep up the good work. Greetz Marcus

  17. For bike trails I understand why it is limited to 20mph for most bikes.

But for city riding on roads, I feel 30mph should be allowed. The easier a bike can maintain the speed of car traffic. The less I feel drivers are angry or irritated and being impeded.

This is for cases where there are no dedicated bike lanes. The extra speed would be welcome.

  18. Any chance you are going to review the Yamaha urban rush?

  19. Electric bicycles are so good these days. Feel blessed

  20. where is your 5500 k going in this bike ? i don,t get how it,s worth so much money

  21. Would love to see this bike under my xmas tree. 🌲🚲 🙂
