CIVI BIKES Cheetah Video Review – $2.3k Motorcycle Inspired Electric Bike Design, Powerful & Fast

CIVI BIKES Cheetah Video Review – $2.3k Motorcycle Inspired Electric Bike Design, Powerful & Fast The CIVI BIKES Cheetah is a motorcycle inspired fat tire electric bike with powerful 750 watt geared hub motor from Bafang, unique battery integration designed to look like a gas tank, two battery size options. High-volume tires provide comfort and stability, padded grips, oversized sprung saddle, and swept back handlebar deliver comfort and an upright body position, this bike can handle taller riders. With a maximum allowable weight of 330lbs (150kb) this is a great electric bike for big people, integrated headlight has high and low beam, beautiful paint matched steel chain cover, three color options. Only available in one frame size, basic 7-speed drivetrain with somewhat limited 13 to 38 tooth cassette means there aren’t as many options for climbing or pedaling at high speed, I experienced some delay with the 12-magnet cadence sensor but the twist throttle is smooth and both brake levers have motor inhibitors. This thing is a sturdy electric bike that would work well for big people, whether you’re tall or just heavy. It really looks a lot like Sam’s Harley motorcycle when we compared the two in his parking lot.

  1. I believe that this is way more waterproof all the electric being in that box where the gas tank would they lie. If they just put the gasket around it or you did it would be waterproof wouldn’t it?

  2. I’m still saving up to buy this bike I’ve wanted it since day one my favorite fatbike…..I did buy a electric fatbike and someone stole it…owell better lock next bike and I will take cab to stores

  3. Change the fat wheelset to moped wheelset . Those last more 😬

  4. I have a nearly identical bike – but with a 1000w direct drive motor, 54v battery. the power is nice, but i hate the handling – skinny bars, tendency to turn in when on pavement feels dangerous. more like a tractor than a bike feeling. Cant handle steep climbs very well at all.

  5. This guy does not get it, mainly because this bike is meant for guys who want to look nothing like him while riding it 😀

  6. Great lookin’ bike and great price, shame they didn’t go with a mid drive and 3 speed hub, i’d snatch that up for sure..

  7. Looks like it is made for short people. Cool looking bike.

  8. I love his helmet ⛑, what brand is it and where can I get one?

Really wish it had a mid-drive motor instead of a hub

  10. Epstein didn't kill Himself ! December 16, 2020 @ 9:40 pm

Get you buy this in England UK?

  11. Leprechean Incorporated December 16, 2020 @ 9:43 pm

I am curious what did civi-bikes pay for this advertisement?
Here at we also sell bicycles just like these.
Perhaps a review of our bicycles?

  12. I want one the minute You install suspension fork and street tires……Paul

  13. Yup cool ride nice shop too.

  14. Where do we get those bike frames

  15. They are nice thinking about getting one ditching my car

  16. I don’t understand why Court changed the wheel size setting, which is intended to keep the odometer accurate. Those fat tires are taller than a conventional 26" tire, which is why the computer was set to a larger size!

  17. I could do without all the hand waving the fingers in the frame. I know it’s the new ADHD style of presenting, but it’s overkill

  22. Hi..bro please tell me price of scout 750 can I purchase in Pakistan possible or not please tell me about that… waiting your reply..

  23. im in nyc were do i find it

  24. With all that open area under the "tank" why not fill it with battery and make the tank a storage area. More battery = range, but also cost.

  25. can you ride this on biking lanes?

  26. Love the channel. I’m retired military luving overseas. Dont like the ebikes here. I can get a few thru our small military store (exchange). They carry 2 brand gotrax and glarewheel. Both have very VERY few real reviews. Saw they just started to carry the Glarewheel EB CH (fat tire cafe racer). Did a search… of course little info. Your cheetah video popped up. These things look identical. Maybe you could shed some light. Copies, licensed re brand, RIP off… etc. I’ll try to attach a link if YouTube let’s me. Have you even heard of this company?

  27. I really love my ecotric hammer ebike. It reminds me a lot of riding a dirt bike back in the 70s. I’m 58 years old and I pretended it is a motorcycle LOL

  28. slow this video down to .75 and the camera work that bounces around is somewhat more tolerable.

Not bikes. This is not pedelec

  30. pitifully obvious December 16, 2020 @ 10:05 pm

Politicians are too lazy to introduce sensible laws for e-bikes.
E-bikes need a speed limit of about 40 to 45 MPH so they are able to
keep in the flow of normal motorised traffic flow. ESPECIALLY ON
HILLS where an e-biker limited power to 15 MPH, is going to be
reduced to 5 MPH up hills leading to a potentially DANGEROUS
situation given the impatient, inconsiderate average motorist.
Motorist are too stupid, too lazy or too fat to use e-bikes for local
journeys. Politicians and most car drivers are too stupid to realise
that the e-bikes WILL solve traffic congestion, obesity AND traffic pollution.

Imagine our cities where 90% of us are commuting across town by e-bike or
e-biking to and from the train station. Trains can be easily adapted
as necessary. Pollution levels and the gorgeous whether would return
to the levels we all enjoyed during the Coronavirus lock down.
Pitifully Obvious – unless you are a dumb politician. E-BIKE REGULATIONS NEED TO BE UPDATED.
ie your mum and dad ) TOXINS from ever increasing motor vehicle use
are poisoning us and our children. All of us are wasting thousands
hours of valuable time in unproductive traffic congestion. The e-bike
    – tandem e-bikes – e bike trailers for the kids and shopping is our
    likely salvation !

E-bikes need regulations if they are to become the most popular form of
commuter vehicle. Unfortunately Registration plates insurance and
construction regulations for safety, similar to mop-heads will have
to be adapted. Hub motors are too unstable at speeds above 30 MPH –
Mid drive compulsory – Rim brakes wear out rapidly on faster e-bikes and are therefore dangerous
    – disc brakes should be compulsory for e-bikes – Compulsory -e-bike battery
detachable to prevent theft and for recharging at work
or destination with employers require by law to facilitate. Lockable
    anti-theft tracker system – compulsory.
Speed limited by law to 45 MPH but with enough power to maintain that
speed up most hills. Motorway lanes adapted and progressively widened to provide 45 MPH e-bike and
e-recumbent bikes/trikes lanes where riders are three or four abreast
from initially using only the emergency vehicle access lane. Truck
lane 55 mph and car lanes 70 MPH.

In Life the sensible are handicapped by the imbeciles. The most common
accidents on motor bikes occurs when folks pull out in front of an
approaching motor bike because the driver didn’t see the motor bike
which of course is bigger than an e-bike. I would strongly suggest
fitting a LED head light which can be set higher in daylight
preferably with a yellow cover to help the drivers see you
approaching the junction. Bear in mind older drivers have poorer
eyesight and much slower reactions. It’s not much help being in the
right if your dead. At night remove the coloured lens cover and lower
the beam. We all need to scream at our idiot leaders in all countries
to adjust legislation to make e-bikes more popular. The Laws in the
UK are ridiculous. Most reasonably fit riders can easily exceed the
15 MPH limit without power assist but the same rider travelling above
15 MPH on a e-bike fitted with power assist EVEN if the power assist
is not being engaged WILL BE BREAKING THE LAW. Failing to registrar
the bike as a motor vehicle – no registration plate – no insurance –
no motor vehicle lighting regulations – not wearing a full motor bike
helmet etc………………. Please copy and paste everywhere !

  31. i would like to buy

  32. Can you paint the frame violet or cream?

  33. Por favor por qué no lo pueden decir en español, para saber más de la bicicleta, es que yo me compré una así

  34. Wher should I go to get one?

  35. Where are they made?

  36. Through the covid19 Lockdown, I’ve been out for rides on my brother in-laws Scout version here in New Zealand. It is so cool, has 750watt motor which gives plenty of power, heavy yes
I’m a short person even my knees get in the way, lol. Such a solid bike easy to ride.

  37. Well done. Excellent information for any electric bike riders. I now have an electric scooter and my third electric bike. Definitely recommend a minimum 750w and the biggest battery ….and lock ….you can afford. Had two electric bikes stolen, one lock cut right in front of the floor-to-ceiling library window with 20 people working on computers 30 feet away!

  38. great info thank you-what is the difference between the Cheetah and the Cafe Racer?

  39. Sam that a beautiful bike mate

  40. I’ve just been interested in ebikes for like 3 days now lol. Your videos are crazy how much stuff you’ve reviewed. Watched many over these few days. I’m the market for my first bike!

  41. Nice bike !! But if you’re going to make it look like a bober the display needs to be round ,the rectangular display looks out of place 😉

  42. Jennifer-Mireille Heinig December 16, 2020 @ 10:19 pm

*looked at a lot of e-bikes and to me they all looked too modern. I like a vintage style▫▫▫>**ㅌ **   and this bike is exactly what I wanted! I would absolutely recommend the seller for such a fast response, and such an amazing product. Thank you SO much!!! I love my new bike!*

  43. So many cool retro ebikes and EMTBs out there, and none of them available in Canada for under 7k CDN. FML. ><

  44. This is a nice bike. Looks Stupid without FENDERS. Where do we get the Missing Fenders ?

  45. This guy is such a salesman, lol. But he knows his stuff!

  46. is the cheetah available in the UK…Amazon say not?

  47. Did anyone buy this other than professional reviewers? I trying to find some real consumer giving a review. Can’t find one. I guess it’s too expensive.

  48. Why not just buy a motorcycle?

  49. Bought this ebike in March of 2020. From day one they sent it with a broken head, but the warranty replaced it so thank you for that. But the LCD screen settings menu never worked even after putting the 9999 code. It’s now May 28,2020 and I’ve only ridden it about 6 times due to thorns and flat tires so it’s been mostly sitting in my garage and even after replacing the tubes about 3 times i still can’t fix the flat tires to save my life. And now I’m getting a “4 hall error” message. I just can’t seem to get it out of my garage for a ride. Thanks civibikes. Thanks EBR for letting me post my EBR.
