  1. Question.. does enabling dual motors on a scooter uses less battery? Because if the front motor is off, it create drag so the back motor uses more power? Is this myth true? ty

    Reminds me of some lakes will have a limit of 10horse motors. But some people will put a 10h cover on a 15h motor.

  7. Is there a private and honest site that would provide the real specs of most Ebikes from different manufacturers. Manufacturers sites don’t seem to provide all the information, they supply some numbers but not all numbers that could help us evaluate their products

  8. Hi, I have just built a DIY 18650 52v 10a battery, but I see that it very slowly looses its charge over time. The BMS stops charging at 57.7v and it goes down to 57.1v over a period of 4 hours or so. On the other hand, my first built battery, a 52v 17.5a gets full at 58.8v and barely goes down to 58.5 over 24h. They were both made with vruzend kits and BMSs as well as LG MJ1 18650 3500mah cells. What may cause a battery to slowly (but still more quickly than normal) loose charge like that over time ? Also is it a good idea to build a battery with LG M50 21700 5000mah cells ? Thank you

  9. Hi I’m from india. I brought cheap 10" 48v 500w hub motor kit.the kit comes with 48v 23A controller…
    Is that the controller suits for the motor. And what is the minimum Ah battery is required for this kit.

    Are there any geared mid mount motors on the market at the moment? Like separate gears between the mid motor and the mid output sprocket?

    Be awesome for a belt drive single pedal gear.

  12. does one of your books have a way to regulate Amps going into a motor? I have an 18v battery that I am using on a project and the speed controller seems to output more than what my 30amp fuse can take so the fuse keeps burning out….but I want to be able to limit the amount of amps it puts out while still using the 18v battery….is that possible and if so what would i need to make that happen? a buck converter or some type of module ?

  16. Auto manufacturers underrate their motors too. The 06 Chevy cobalt SS LJS supercharged 2.0l motor is advertised as producing 215 crank hp. I assume this if to keep insurance rates low, because they routinely dyno at 235hp at the wheels before any mods. I’m happy to get an underrated motor in my e-bike because excellent reviewers, such as yourself, make head to head comparisons revealing the "truth in advertising" very quickly.

    I just bought a batteru which is 52v 17.5ah but says in the description it has a 40amp bms. My bafang mid drive bbs02b has a 25amp controller. Does the amp rating of the battery matter or is the controller going to pull what It needs grom the battery and thats all or can the battery put too i h power into the motor

    Maybe you can help i have a Super73 RX and every time we do this huge bike ride all over NYC im getting range anxiety and everyone fights for the electrical outlet that’s available. My question is can i put an additional aftermarket battery and will my bike recognized the BMS on it? thank you in advance

Hi Micah, you have a great chanel, Im looking at building a water jet surfboard using a 300A ESC with a 9000w motor, Im looking at making 24v battery, with 7 cells in series and 8 cells in parallel. Im looking at using 56, 21700 SAMSUNG 40T, 4000mah with a Maximum Continuous Discharge of 30A per cell, I’m hopefully aiming on not pulling no more than 150A, from the pack, would you use say a 200A BMS or would you split the cells into 4 packs and use 4 x 50A BMS’s

    Is this considered progress? Just get a regular bike that fits your size, riding needs, riding abilities, and go out and have some fun already! It’s cheaper and you’ll actually get some exercise. Hmmm, we really have gone off the rails people. .

  48. higher torque does not always mean higher power it is developed by reduction gears.

    in the end the police officer does not have the training on multi meters and ohms law or even a dyno.

    they as far as i know of have to rely on how fast you are going and if you are doing stunts like donuts to determine the power
