Packs are too tight in there. Abrasion will get the best of those cells sooner or later.

Nice battery box! The only thing I don’t like about your setup is those dangerous lipo batteries and all of the wires and displays that is associated with it. Instead, why don’t you just get a lithium ion triangle battery with built in BMS and fit it inside your box? That didn’t help me one bit. You failed to show how your box mounts in place without movement? sure the two bottle holder bolts but what else holds the triangle from moving? Zip ties.

I had a battery pack at the back with the rear wheel from golden motor,, too heavy with rider,, kept breaking spokes, and wheel needing to replace them and when you break one you will then break 4 more as law of averages,, then need to replace and also straighten wheel with new spokes,, as of needing to buy new ones can only find the same crap cheap ones (ebay 10 bucks for 30) golden motor first used that keep breaking,, and buying them (possibly same) from supplier in places like Canada that want 15 bucks for 3 spokes,, highway robbery,, going to get a mid mount Bfang/Fun8 motor on new fat bike and scrap the golden motor bike as a lost cause.
One of the biggest cost is the battery pack,, doing research to see if making one is worth it as to buy ready made pack ?

I found some two side adhesive rubber tape to be very useful in these batteries, I’ve even crashed on my bike scraped my knee cut my finger but that battery didn’t budge.
what speed controller did you use to power the motor with 72v?
