EG Geneva 500MX Review – $2.6k City Commuting Ebike, Class 3 28mph
https://electricbikereview.com/eg/geneva-500mx/ The EG Geneva 500MX is a speedy and comfortable commuter that has cruiser elements, built for speed with 28mph top speed, 700c tires, and built for comfort with fork, saddle, grips, and handlebars. Features bolt-on rear rack, suspension fork, battery integrated lights in front and rear, plastic fenders, aluminum alloy pedals, and bottle cage bosses. Great electrical and mechanical system with the 2nd generation Dapu MD250 mid-drive, 8 speed Shimano Alivio system, Tektro hydraulic 180mm rotor dic brakes. No puncture protection or reflective sidewall on tires, display not removable, and there is no shift detection on the motor so make sure to ease off when shifting gears at high speeds or pedal RPMs. EBR was paid to perform this review #Sponsored We try to be honest, thorough, and fun! The EG website does not list dealers and it does not let you order the bike from the site. How do you buy the bike? The site also lists the weight as 56 pounds not the 65 pounds you report. Who is correct?
Great video quality!
New camera Cort?
Title subtitle, I hate when I upload a video and mis something
Not a lot of EBikes to choose from that have both midDrive and Throttle if anyone in the SoCal area would like to test ride we are going to have the biggest EBike expo of the year with over 250 EBikes for test ride including the EG Geneva and Zürich on August 24, 2019 look forward to seeing you all there. Court will be in town covering the event mark your calendars it’s coming soon in one week. It’s your chance to meet and ask questions with over 20 manufactures all in one place. One day only don’t miss it.
Love the mid drive motor. I would prefer to have a twist throttle on the correct (right) side…or even a thumb throttle on the right and shifter on the left.
Yes perfect, killing it with mid drive throttle.
Where can i buy? i want to BUY now!
Who’s the 4th guy?
Hi Court,
I’m going over some of your videos.
Did Sam say these EG bikes are out of Boston? Are there any dealers in New England?
The Pedego uses the Dapu motor.
