Electra Townie 7d cruiser (flat foot technology) THE BEST CRUISER?!?!??!

Electra Townie 7d cruiser (flat foot technology) THE BEST CRUISER?!?!??!

This is my review on the Electra Townie 7d cruiser. It retails for $540 and it is a aluminum frame and comes with alloy wheels and 7 speed tourney rear derailer and two hand brakes one for the front and one for the rear.

This is bike is the perfect do all bike because of the flat foot technology and being very light weight. it is a ONE SIZED fit all bike so the benefit is, that if you want to buy this bike for your daughter or son for a first bike it will be a bike that they can keep in the family forever even when they grow, or have a bike that mom and daughter can share. The possibilities are endless.

if you want to see more cruiser reviews or similar bikes to this one. please lemme know down below.

  1. Good review! I have the Townie Path 9D which is a crossover for street and gravel path. People always comment on how low the seat is – but that’s the way it is supposed to look. Remember, the object is to be able to put both feet flat on the ground when you stop. If you are standing on the balls of your feet, then you have the seat too high – for the Townies. That’ what flat foot tech is all about.

  2. Great video and information. These seem hard to find new and are out of stock. What should I look for since I have a chance to purchase a gently used bike?

Can you tell me what the difference is between this one and the electra cruiser that is 7 speed? It appears to have different handle bars. Thank you!

I just got one in black for my wife, great info

  5. Not sure how to use the gears

  6. How does this bike compare to a Sun Drifter 7?

  7. Are the step through designs for women? I know traditionally they were, but would a 26 inch townie step through be too small for a 5’10 220 lb man?

  8. šŸ˜‰ sweet

  9. i got one of these in August and have had a blast riding it. One thing is that no matter how fast I pump my legs it will only go but so fast. Why is that?

  10. My wife is 5ā€™0. Is it still possible for that height to touch the ground flat footed?

    Thanks for sharing this video!!
I was torn between the Specialized "Corridor" and this bike. I am 68, 5’4" , fit and trim but deal with moderate to severe knee osteoarthritis. I still love to ride leisurely and the forward pedaling has enabled me to continue to ride. This is the perfect bike for me and anyone confronted with joint limitations and disabilities. I ride it around town at home and during my vacationing in Naples. I enjoy riding it near and around the beach! It’s also perfect for sight seeing. Thanks again for sharing this info! šŸ˜‰šŸ‘šŸ˜€

  12. Whats the best speed to use on the Townie Electra 7 speed ? I usually do#5 but i wonder about what the recommended speed is for cruising about town. Thanks/ PS I really love my townie btw <3

  13. is it heavy?

  14. The above ad is false!! I’m 5’2" and have to be on tippy toes in order to reach the ground. I had a Townie 4 years ago and was able to sit with flat foot, but NOT with this bike, and I see others mentioning the same problem. Please DO NOT indicate that purchasing this even for children . . . NOT TRUE!!

My gf is 5ā€™2ā€, will she have a stretched out reach over to the handle bars from sitting position? Thanks!

I rescued a townie 7D from the scrappers, it had no tires and the rear derailleur is trashed. Do you know where you got the $80 dollars in parts for a chain, derailleur, and crank? A local soFla store? Also, what rims replacements would you recommend since no one sells them, not even Trek’s website.

  17. I tried this bike out and got a sore tailbone. I decided not to buy it. Also could not handle the handlebars when stopping and almost went off the path, scary.

Is this an electric bicycle or just a regular bike?

  19. Is this bike good for camping? Also can you do a review on Electra 7D 24ā€ walkthru? Thank you.

I have 2018 21spd townie myself and love riding it.

  21. Iā€™m 63 and love to bike ride with my hubby. I had a cruiser with no speeds and it was hard to keep up, we just bought this bike the other day and I canā€™t wait to ride it. Itā€™s really the exercise I like the most.

  22. I just got this bike today. My first bike. I learned to ride it on my way home lol. I personally love it. By the time I got home from the shop, I got the hang of it. I got it in matte purple.
