First I must admire your positive attitude of putting your ideas into practise, but you must study how the spokes on the wheels work and where and how the physical energy is distributed…dont drive the wheel from mid of the spokes…they are the weakest point!!!
Anyway, my hats off to you for your positive and hard work!!!
LOL, Come on guys! It can barely get out of its own way! Notice the slight down hill riding at first then the slight up hill @9:30 it almost stopped!
Compare it to my e-bike that I just built as its very close to what you have, but yours might be a little faster! 🙂

I really like this Idea, in fact, it is brilliant. Thank you for sharing. I would not hesitate to buy one had I not already fitted my Bicycle with a Motor. The only alternatives for allowing amateurs to adapt their bicycles are the ‘Rubbee Drive’ (very expensive) or buy a New pre-installed Hub Wheel/Motor; I like your idea best.

This is an awful design, especially if you are thinking of putting this thing on the front rim! They make better designs for these chain driven things where they clamp down on the hub and not to the spokes (they are suitable for this or those cheap 2 stroke engine kits that bolt a cog to the spokes). The spokes cannot absorb the torque of a decent electric engine. The designer should change the kit to use they type of cog that grips the hub (oh, and these come in very large sizes and can replace any of these bolt on to the spokes gears).
If that motor loosens itself it’ll get jammed in to the front wheel and A. rip all the spokes out, B. make you flip over and knock all your teeth out or worse. I’ve been a pro bike mechanic for years and guarantee you this is one of the worst kits out there!!!

agree with tarstakusz, it is a truly awfuldesign. To use the spokes as a fixing point for transmission is begging for all sorts of troubles….
