Haven’t heard anyone tell the difference between an E + 1 and E + 2
Any reviews on LaFree E + 1 ? The gates belt drive is a good-setup ?

Awesome bike. Just got one for my wife. The thing looks like it is a slow slug of a bike. But it is a monster. Smashes out 20 to 25kmh up the hill, tapers off at 27kmh on the flat but is actually really easy to pedal even without assist. I was doing 50kmh on the flat today because I had so much spare energy because the bike does so much of the work during the ride. Down hill you feel comfortable even at 65kmh. Such an amazing bike. I’m going to get one for myself as well. Has an auto mode too by the way. Press down all the way then another couple times. Middle light comes on. Then it adjusts automatically to you riding using the slope sensor to detect hills etc… it’s a really neat bit of kit. I reckon you would get 90km range from the battery.
what size tire does it have?
it uses a 26" x 2.4" tire. the large air volume of that tire gives the bike a smooth ride quality.
Anyone else with this bike having power issues? When I start riding for the day the power will often cut out after a minute of riding, then when I try to turn the bike back on, the lights will flash on, then go off. After I try turning it on for 3 – 5 times, it usually powers up and runs no problem until I let it sit for a few hours. I haven’t been able to find anything online why this might happen and my dealer was no help when I called for advice.
Got my La free today.. Had a great ride and when my husband took it for a spin, a red light flashed and it totally shut down. We can’t get it going. the charger is totally green so it’s charged. what do i do? I live on an island. I can’t take it to the store. Thanks for any help you can give me.
