The Hafny says it fits handlebars 21-26. My new Vado SL is 18 mm where it would be mounted. Would it still works OK with rubber shims? Also is the style you like because of function or style?
I couldn’t make out if any of those were wide angle lenses. I am mystified that wide angle isn’t the norm like they are on cars. (objects in mirror are closer than they appear) I ended up buying a wide angle stick on mirror and stuck it on my helmet mounted mirror. Huge improvement.
Bike mirror Yes! Specific manufacturer No!
There’s another one that is nice . It’s called a cateye 500. Got one on my XP.
I found that some of the mirrors out there don’t magnify the image. Which for me was, It was harder to see the coming vehicles.
Great video … on the orange rad bike is that the new bright headlights ?? In the radpower bike website it seems smaller..
I鈥檓 trying to figure out how many mirrors I would need for my new bike. I鈥檝e seen cyclists with just one mirror. I鈥檓 wondering if they can see behind them fine. Would 1 mirror work well? Or should I get 2? Ty!
With the upside down mounting option (at 4.40 in to the video) it would appear that you would need to have a transparent arm to be able to see the mirror!? 馃 馃槀
Great 馃憤 review!
Good video, but I’d like to know if the mirror moves when riding in strong winds or over bumps or rough terrain.
I wonder if, when you move the display to make room for the hafny handlebar mirror, the wire leading in to the display is stressed, since the length of the wire was fit for the original placement of the display. It seems like that wire should be going straight in to the display from directly below it rather than at an angle. I’m wondering because I just ordered a Hafny mirror for my Ride 1up 700 series and I wouldn’t want to install it and have it lead to a shorter life span for the display.
Any chance you can do a video on adding some integrated lights to your Ride1Up LMT’D?
There’s a Ride1Up video on how to access the controller and there’s a few extra connections for lights on there.
Thanks for the video. Looking at the handle bar model. First one in your links. Do they require a lot of adjusting while on the road? Read where other mirrors require tweaking while riding. Also, do they fold in for transporting? Thanks!
Problem with the Hafny handlebar mounted mirror is it doesn鈥檛 extend far enough, they should add an option to extend out the mirror.
