  1. Can some tell me why my Escooter motor make noise then looses power once I’m moving. I can move from a stop nice and smooth. Then right as it’s about to really get going it falls on its face. And once it has slowed a bit I can get back into the throttle and then it happens again. I have swapped to a new motor then to a new speed controller. Then I also tried a different throttle and still the same issue. Any ideas out there???

    Awesome video, It gives me an idea for my Ebike. What do you think? Currently I have a 52 volt 13ah battery running a (rated at) 1500 watt motor. My controller is rated at 30 amps 52v. It hits 28mph on flat and has a range of about 25~miles. Im thinking to add another identical 52v 13ah battery. If I wire up both batteries in series or parallel what would I get? Should I also switch to an upgraded 72V 3000W 100A controller?

  5. I have a 36v motor, my controller is 24v-36v and I’ve been using a 7s2p battery on my build. I’m about to connect a 10s2p battery……

    Will my distance get better or just torque and top speed?

    Hi Micah, I live in the UK where the max motor is 250w. What would be the ideal controller & battery voltage/amperage for a 2 wheel drive 250w 29". Also, do you know if using two 250w motors keep me within the 250w max limit, I want to stay legal, or at least under the radar & arguably under the limit to any curious coppers.

My name’s Brenda, and I have a magnum E-Bike classic like rise II and I am trying to find the best way to increase my speeds to maybe 35 mph since the minimum is 24 and also, trying to figure out how to program the display to show battery percentage rather than v. or find a new a new battery that can extend the battery life to at least 5 hours on a full 100% charge.     I have a stock 16 amp controller with a 500watt motor. The controller is limited to 500watt max. Can I run a 750watt motor until I upgrade my controller. Or will this lower current into this 750watt cause motor damage?

  15. There are 2 different hub motor control voltages. Most of my hub motors were and maybe still are the most common. I have a Bafang and a few others. Most of my controllers and throttles are interchangeable. However I have a hub motor 16" in a trike that none of my controller/throttle will run. I just bought a new controller/throttle kit that runs that trike hub fine but will not run any of my other hub motors. I have noticed that the voltage being sent to the wheel is higher on the Bafang and other hub motors I have than that going to the 16" trike hub motor. How can you tell what you are buying will run which type of hub motor.

  18. I need to be clear, I have an ebike with a modern hub (250 watt) I think.I currently run at 48 volt, so How high can I safely go, could I go to 60 volts safely and really speed up, or perhaps 52 volt to be safer.Obviously I want as much power as poss, so will try 60volt if it’s safe to do so?

  20. Why would you multiply the motor RPM by the diameter? Wouldn’t it make sense to multiply the RPM by the wheel circumference since for every revolution of the wheel, the bike travels the same distance as the circumference of the wheel?

  23. if youre over volting your motor all the time, wont your motor die quicker compared to running the motor at the volts it was created to run?? and is this over volting only for bldc motors or do you do it with bdc motors as well??

  24. The better way to increase speed is put the 2 speed gearbox for electric motor and drive much economy put high gear and motor run at low speed but you going fast on the road and first gear for terrain the problem is that gearbox not exist and we cant buy that

  35. Hi mate I’ve got a kugoo g booster scooter it’s 48v duel motor 2x800w so for me to get more speed all I need is more volts .
    But say if I get new controllers say 60-72v would I still need the controllers to be 800w per wheel or can I go more ?
    What would be the best way to get more speed cheers 👍

  43. sir i had used 72 v 2kw motor with 72v 26 ah battery and i got the range of 110 km with 70kmh speed . but when i used that same battery on 72 v 1200w motor igot only 50 km range on same controller . what do u thing actual range i supposed to get if i buy 1200w controller for 1200 w motor ? i had high hopes from this motor like getting atleast 150 km range . but i think i will get 110 km range again .

  47. Hi, I have a 24v & 250w motor. I was wondering if I hook up another12 volts to my 24 volts would that work on my system to make it go faster. I think the answer is yes. My other question is the 24volts is lithium & the 12volts is conventional acid. Please help.

  48. Hey, I have been wonderin if theres no such thing as perpetual motor, and knowing a motor can run at any voltage, what about if I will put a Generator and hook it in BBSHD motor, will it work as an assist mode? If so what kind of generator should be used?
