Rebuild and Improve Trex Ride+ BionX Electric Bike Battery with Balance Board and DIY spot welder
The video records the rebuild process of the Trex Ride+ electric bicycle BionX battery. The new battery is built with 44 Samsung INR18650-35E 3450mAH 18650 battery with configuration of 11S4P and has more than twice the original Sony US18650V 18650 battery. A balancing board has been added to extend battery pack life. The video also shows how to reset the battery level indicator of BionX G1 controller.

UPDATED AT END – Thanks so much for your video. I’m rebuilding this same pack. I lost the thermistor that goes from the battery ground to the green wire. Do you know what I can use to replace it? UPDATE – I found the thermistor I lost – it measures 12Kohms at about 65F, so I assume it’s a 10Kohm nominal thermistor.
