This Mod will Instantly Split Opinion on my Porsche 911 997 – Porsche UK. It’s a modification I’ve been planning on my Porsche 911 997 for a while but FINALLY I am doing the mod. But I really do need your help to figure out if the mod actually suits the 911 997. Please comment and let me know below what you think about the mod.
Porsche 911 992 Launch Control Carrera 4s – the 992 launch control feature can catapult the new Porsche 911 from 0-62 in just 3.6 seconds. Pretty incredible. Both the S & 4s are widebody cars, this car was kindly loaned to me by Porsche Centre Teeside. I can’t wait to try the 992 GT3 launch control and 992 Turbo launch control.

I can’t afford a gt3 so was thinking off getting the kit with the seats and steering wheel to go with it and just slap it on my 997 , love the look of the gt3

It’s your car, it’s fun to see your choices for mod. I like the black side stone guards especially on a silver 911 even though I have blue Boxster my next Porsche will a 2009 – 2012 911s. So please have fun show lots of cool mods that’s why I watch! Ps tell us if there is a big difference between a 911 and a 911s thanks

It’s not a GT car, and you don’t live on the track. Wings look poser on street cars. 911’s are known for their beauty, and now you can see it!

I like the wing off. With the wing, to me, it looks like a car owned by a teenaged kid. Keep it under stated.

You have a GT3 front bumper and front spoiler, leave the GT3 wing on the back. I understand your not making it into a GT3 as there is no GT3 insignia on the engine lid. ( fly incognito )
Dirtier than your ex-girlfriend! I love the classic shape of the 911 too and wouldn’t consider adding a wing to my C2 but with the full aero kit, the wide body (C4S) and the color, I like the wing on.

Duck tail it, it would look mint with the bodykit. I’m going down that route. If not then classic shape all the way. It’s not meant to have the GT3 wing as it’s a C4S.
as much as i love the wing, i do also appreciate the classic look. no wing for me! at least for awhile.

Classic look or a Turbo spoiler. The GT3 spoiler is a little too much IMHO.

Gt3 wheels look fine, maybe just get porsche center caps, and the wheels are no where near as dirty as my ex…. Maybe your mum? It looks better with the wing, looks avg. Without. Good choice on ditching the logo.

Keep the wing and powder coat the wheels satin black …I have a racing yellow 991.1 with the clear taillights and I get a lot positive comments. Originally from Liverpool, but now parking my 911outside of my home in beautiful scottsdale , AZ.

The old spoiler suits the car’s body kit, otherwise I prefer the classic looks and shape. A duck tail gives a raw aggression associated with the classic 911’s and its a modification which is equally at home on a classic or modern classic 911. It’s a win win option which I would have taken if I was going to change spoilers. My GT3 996 is stuck with its Taco spoiler but if I had a non GT3 I’d go with a duck tail. Given your options I’d stick with the old spoiler because it goes with the body kit. I get what you say about the classic shape though.

I’m a big fan of the ducktail for the 997. Would make it have the “sport classic” look. Glad your enjoying your Porsche as much as I am on mine (928-S4)

Picked up on it right away. You took off the Aero Kit wing. I don’t even own a 997 yet and that is the look I’m going for. GT3/aero from bumper and no wing. I’ve been collecting pics from the internet and think it looks amazing. I’ve heard that it leads to instability at speed tho. Porsche recommend a rear spoiler if you have the aero front bumper, they say. So “maybe” a ducktail. Either way this mod is A thumbs up in my book, K1d_Phresh approved! I love how the look retains the classic 911 profile but has a more aggressive front end!
