The main difference between the Verve 2 and 3 Disc is the drivetrain and gear speed. The drivetrain refers to the gear levels of the front and back wheel axles. The Verve 3 Disc 2021 is the first Verve bike to use a 2 by 9 drive train, meaning it is an 18 speed gear. This means there are two gears on the front and 8 on the back axle. The gearswere designed this way for easy operation and switching between gears. On the other hand, the Verve 3 Disc retains the 3 x 8 drive train in previous versions of the Verve model. This also means it is 24 speed bicycle. It’s ideal for rough terrain as well as leisure biking with your family.
Crazy confusing video… speaking about new features while displaying pictures of different or older models. Some of the spec facts are wrong… can’t rely on what I’ve seen here.
Verve 3 is a 2×9, not 2×8, as detailed by the narrator in the video.
