I had an 86. Extended swingarm, and pro built shock and all ya had to do is lean way back and she did awesome in the woops! Should of never got rid of it!

the 350 having more torque than the 250 two stroke is just flat out wrong. the 250 makes significantly more peak torque
I’ve riding trikes since the 80’s and they are not dangerous at all as long as you know how to drive them.

The reason they went away is because a few idiot’s with no riding skills thought that because it had 3 wheels they could just jump on one and tear it up, well theses few idiot’s killed themselves and the families sued Honda. Its another case of a few dummies ruining it for everyone.

My first ride was my dads ATC350x! It was a blast for sure. I miss it more than anything.
Have had 3 different 85 350x……love them. Had 4 different 200x also, they were better balanced for tight trail riding but no where near as fun as the 350. Had a 83 250r as well, didnt like it near as well as I did the 350x. I’ll take a 3 wheeler any day over a quad.

He said it’s a 6 speed transmission, that was on the 1986. The 1985 350X had a 5 speed transmissions. Trust me, I know, when I was racing my brother on his 1986 250R we were always neck and neck until I was at the top of 5th gear and he shifted into 6th. LOL!

Several buddies and I had 3 wheelers back in the 80s. Most of us had 200X Honda’s, one guy had a 250R 2 stroke; it was a rocket ship. Great fun, though most of us eventually transitioned to Quadracers.
I’m looking to buy a 350x if there is any one out there that might be able to help ?
My father owned one and modded it. He bored it, but a better piston in it, honed and polished the cylinder and but stronger valve springs and valves. He has a old home video of it whupping a raptor 660r.
I would love to have another ATC. I had a 110 when I was a kid. I wanted a 250r so bad when I was a teenager never happened though.

It’s amazing these in fairly good condition are going for $4000.
I could see that price for a museum quality.
I hate to admit it but if I had the money I would buy a $4000 three wheeler over a quad. Especially one that has a top end of about 70 mph.
I was riding my 110 from the river to the store for a drink and passed a couple boys about 12 years old .
Their reaction to a motorized tricycle was priceless.
I had to stop and let them check it out.
They said they had never seen a three wheeler and were in awe.
I guess there are only a few of us that are causing the 3 wheeler prices to get stupid high.

i found two 1/4 drive sockets from where the sponsored atc guy and long hair girl with the garden lived,the deep is a 7/16 and the short is a 3/8 they are brand new and the brand is crewline.

They should bring them back, but before you can buy it you have to take a test about the history of the atc. Just to make sure they know that you know what it’s capable of and you’re not some idiot who wants to buy it for Johnny because he said he wants it.

That makes me so mad. If you can’t ride don’t get on one. You weak links ruined for every body I love my 3 wheeler & there was so much more room for improvement bigger, fast etc. remember if you can’t handle it don’t ride.
Really well done! Brings back tons of memories of our ’85 350X… looking at todays insane values, we sold it wayyyy too cheap! Keep up the good work.
My dad has an old 70cc three wheeler that he got in 1978 and I LOVE IT. It’s always so fun to ride and I have gotten use to it having 0 suspension. All my friends say “oh those are dangerous”. And I’m like “one, they aren’t dangerous if you are experienced and know how to use them correctly and two, clearly you have never rode one.
