holy shit, wasted 10m of my life.

  2. Where can we buy these products

  3. This isn’t a new idea. These have existed for a long time. This guy obviously hasn’t studied very many weehicles.

  4. ok but that Bimoz ad is unsettling asF

  5. Are they serious with this crap

  6. Clive SINCLAIR brought out the EXACT version of this in the 1980’s. It was RUBBISH then and I see no improvements in this version.

  7. Ezequiel Checko Ayala May 5, 2021 @ 12:44 am

    Fix your sound!

  8. We Are Earth Guardians May 5, 2021 @ 12:44 am

    Goofy an ugly 👉click

  9. Unwatchable to many commercials

  10. There is nothing new in this except for the electric motor. In the UK in the 1950s/60s there was a similar sized petrol engine which attached to the bicycle in exactly the same way and which drove the rear wheel by means of a small friction wheel in exactly the same way as this one does.

the RUBBEE looks like but would sound annoying when used with a knobby mtb tires and quite expensive

  12. Richard Vasquez May 5, 2021 @ 12:48 am

My Currie US Pro Drive had a 400 watt motor, and the kit only cost $400. Too bad they don’t make that model anymore! I can’t even find a replacement motor for it.

  13. A J SQUARED AWAY May 5, 2021 @ 12:48 am

They need to build a solar charging model!!! That would be almost a perpetual motion machine. THAT WOULD BE A BOON TO BICYCLE RIDING MANKIND .NUFF SAID !!

  14. stupid video idiots cmon did u not look at it ?

  15. that rubee is awesome. i wonder how good it works though or even if its fast.

  16. Why is the sound so horrible? Lame music drowns out speaking.

  17. VLAD THE IMPALER May 5, 2021 @ 12:53 am

for 1k I could buy a good 2nd hand full size dual sport or a nice scooter that blows this thing away.

  18. 8:44 who wrote the captions, Yoda?

  19. Still waiting for going green

  20. is there any distributor or outlet here in taiwan i want to buy one

  21. Creepy sales pitching. Its like weird roughly translated from another language or something. 😆 LOL

  22. People don’t like injuries. Bicycling = injuries.

  23. Arjen Vreeken May 5, 2021 @ 1:03 am

I sincerely hope that the Rubbee users won’t drive through (wet) gravel, cause chances are that you will have to repair a puncture more often than average. The force & pressure will pierce the tire with sharp bits easily. Let alone the flying dirt and stones that may hit or soil you….

Maybe something that needs looking into. The other rollers may suffer the same issue.

These kits are nothing more than toys rated at no more than 250W. They are designed by scammers to steal money from stupid people. Anyone willing to go electric should never invest in anything rated at less than 500W. Ideally, you should buy a kit that supports a power of 1000W so that you can easily get the legal limit of 750W. Shame on this channel for misleading innocent but stupid people.

  25. Michael In San Francisco May 5, 2021 @ 1:03 am

Nice promo videos, but that’s all this is. I wanted to know what current kits are AVAILABLE, not crap that may never get beyond their slick fraudulent crowd funding false narratives. There’s been so many people burned on those crowd funding sites, or people who have waited two years or longer for a product to debut, these kinds of videos should be outlawed, that is, unless there’s a "BUYER BEWARE" banner affixed throughout each video and web pages.

All I learned from this video is that these devices are pipe dreams (wishful thinking), or con jobs. For example, the Bimoz device looks cool, but that product at $900 is VERY EXPENSIVE (despite what the marketing people say on the video 3:20 ), but as of September 2018, 18 months later from when this video was posted, their website says EXPECTED delivery is September 2018. Yeah, right, like I’m going to give someone $900 and pedal my bike for two years because these frauds are "working on it."

  26. rubbee is trash

  27. fluide fluide May 5, 2021 @ 1:06 am

So why are they "crazy", is it because they are crap ?

  28. Your music bed is killing your message. It sucks…. Check you stats. I’ll bet you see people never making to the end. I made it to 1:20 and make a point to never post negative comments. But that is how bad it sucks.

  40. Richard Vasquez May 5, 2021 @ 1:20 am

Where can we buy them? I HATE when I see a product that is NOT available! Example: Bimoz.

  41. Michael In San Francisco May 5, 2021 @ 1:21 am

My finger wagging would not be complete without pics and video, so here’s a good website. Carry on. Bonus Tip: The battery fire is nasty, as well as crashing due to riding on a wet surface.

  42. Thomas Mathieson May 5, 2021 @ 1:21 am

Why have music in the background? to make it harder to hear what the person is saying?

  43. we made tons of very similar contraptions just like that "Rubbee" portable motor thing back in the 70s and 80s here in SoCal. damn near every kid was getting pulled over for having these on their bikes back in the day. this would be awesome if it werent illegal in pretty much every major city here in America

And furthermore . . . IMO you should NEVER buy a debut product. Usually a device isn’t at its full potential until out of its growing pains, which like many devices, the product is used thousands of miles by everyday users/consumers. As we all know, a product is not truly ready for market until AFTER everyday users put the device through its paces under the 1000s of ways riders can use or abuse a mechanical/electronic product.*

I like to wait a year + after a product debuts because I’m not going to be anyone’s test guinea pig. Moreover, I like learning about a product from Amazon or YouTube reviews authored by actual users of a product.

    * For example, off the top of my head: will the device require professional installation, by someone competent in electric bikes. Will the battery be cooled sufficiently, to where it does not get so hot as to catch fire? Speaking of heat, will the battery or other parts get so hot that the rider risks getting a leg burn; therefore heat shields will be required?

Will the motor need "governor" so riders don’t go too fast, to where he or she may lose control? Will there be minimal brake requirements for bikes? Do brakes need to be maintained so that they actually work when trying to stop a bike moving at 15-20 MPH. What about braking when hauling ass downhill?

Will countries, states, or local jurisdictions deem these "motor vehicles," require the rider wear a helmet, or be licensed to operate such "motorbikes." E.g., here in San Francisco, California, the City has BANNED use of Segways, scooters, or motorized skateboards on City sidewalks. Minors must wear a helmet. And new local scooter ordinances will require adults wear helmets too.

What about insurance requirements. If these are considered a motor vehicle will the rider need to get liability insurance? Again, here in San Francisco there was an electric bike rider who blew through a red light. He ran into a man legally crossing the crosswalk at an intersection. The rider killed the pedestrian. A year or two ago a road bike rider was racing home to beat his time record for getting home. He too raced through an intersection/red light killing an elderly man crossing the street.

What’s the criminal liability to parents who endanger their child’s life by letting him or her ride one of these cool electric bikes, and the child dies or injures someone else.

Yeah, these things are not simply fun and games. Just saying.
