  1. I have recently bought the 160 stereo hybrid race and it is 5* all day!
    Absolutely frickin awesome👌🤙
    Would definitely recommend.

  2. DONT BUY THESE CRAP BIKES. Common fault is the frame cracking at lower shock mount. Cube won’t warranty it either!

  3. Rob Rides EMTB May 20, 2021 @ 1:20 am

Hey all. Thoughts on the Cube 2020 ebike range? Lots of bike for the money, right?!

  4. Penknifemonkey May 20, 2021 @ 1:22 am

To make everyone aware, the small plastic cover around the motor is very weak. It will soon smash off, costs £39 and Cube don’t have it in stock and don’t intend to have it in stock any time soon. It’s clear Cube are not supporting after sales. You have been warned.

  5. I love this bike

  6. Christopher Fairfowl May 20, 2021 @ 1:25 am

Great videos, where were you cycling? Thanks

  7. ShelbyvsViper May 20, 2021 @ 1:27 am

I would also like to see a 29’r vs a 27.5 vs a Mullet series.

  8. Any idea how to make it a bit more agressive?

  9. Gaillard Jean-Michel May 20, 2021 @ 1:31 am

Hi, I disliked this video because it is more a publicity than a review. Of course you’re paid for it but your only gripe was on the tires. I am new to EMTB, but the consensus on wheel sizes is that 29 inch wheels are better, and I have them on my Cube Stereo Hybrid 120. Nowhere can I find why CUBE does not offer 29" on all it’s 160 range, contrary to their competitors. I was expecting a comment on that.

  10. Rob can you test the new 2021 whyte e 160 Rs

  11. Raffaele Serpico May 20, 2021 @ 1:31 am

Hey Rob, what about the brakes on this bike? Magura MT Thirty, Front 4-Piston/Rear 4-Piston are good in a long slope trail ? or they lose performance?TKX

  12. Cool bike but when your max fully load is 135kg its just not meant for me.
A new hardtail for me this year.

I would like to see 140 vs 160 review. I am in between and still haven’t decided yet cause their prices are so close.
I have a non electric 120 Stereo with 130mm front and I was wondering if a 140 would be too close, and so, with no much difference from what I already own, but nevertheless better in some few steep hiking goat trails or 160 would be a better overall choice for the times I come to face a goat trail or a trail with more chunky stones.

I would like climbing and range to be taken in consideration, if you have time and don’t mind cause most of the trails are not in the rich of hand.
Mostly I am talking about 45-75k rides with max 1000-1500m climbing to hit drops.

A nice Idea would be to consider in the test the cheap decathlon.

Anyways, thanks for your videos. I have to say that in the island I live, climbing is also crucial as descending. The cube 120 stereo has be proven for me a great climber and a fast trailer even with 2.6 29er wheels.

  14. Is the race 160 model 2021 as good or should I have choosing the sl version too late now as I’ve already placed my order but just wondering ??

  15. Wonder how it would ride as a mullet

  16. Some ebikes are just too expensive.

  17. Would the 140 suit for a 5’10" 75 kg novice rider?

  18. Freerunning & Parkour May 20, 2021 @ 1:38 am

120 vs 140 video be great aswell.

  19. Thx Rob for the great review as always! Got my (lucky?) hands on one of the 2021 with the new Zeb fork & Kiox before they are sold out. Pickup this week first ride next weekend! i chose this one over the 140 due to 27.5 vs 29, find it more "fun" to "efficient" but should future rides dictate i could change it up to a mullet due to the 44mm setup 🙂

  20. Bullseye Fowl May 20, 2021 @ 1:39 am

Rob can you do a video on just mullet e-bikes? Good stuff keep it coming

  21. I recently found your channel and really enjoy your reviews of the lower-end bikes. I do wonder (coming from motor sports) why you don’t review these bikes with proper tires, preferably the same type?

  22. Tried to buy one. They are like Hens teeth.

  23. Alan Phillips May 20, 2021 @ 1:42 am

Rob emtb tyres as you ride a fair amount of various makes and models what percentage are on e bike specific tyres or is that no longer the case.

  24. Cube vs RADON , hmmm which is better ?

  25. David Timewell May 20, 2021 @ 1:46 am

Rob cube stereo hybrid 160 action team or yt decoy shred witch one would you choose

  26. Hi Rob! How would you compare it with the Focus Jam2? Which one would you have?

  27. 140 vs 160 video would be nice, exactly what I’m looking for. Which is a better trail bike, Cube hybrid stereo action team 140 or the RENDER 10.0 HD SUPREME? Which is a better designed and quality bike? Looking for something that is good on the trails, but can handle a little of everything.

  28. Kun je der ook mee fietsen?, of kan dat ding alleen de bult af?

  29. I bought this bike in December 2020 when it became available here in UK. Great bike and value for money and really enjoyed it since. I agree with everything you mentioned in your review. Took it to Italy last summer and it was a super performer up the Italian mountains.

  30. In love with my cube Acid hybrid one 500, whilst it may only be an entry EMTB, punchy Bosch motor! Love cube

  31. great review rob considering this but the 2021 version with the new zeb fork im 6ft 1 and gonna go xl but im keen to see if i run it a mullet set up how it would perform im also going to swap out the shock for a coil set up i think

  32. Would also like to hear your thoughts on the 120
Looking at getting a ebike and as a man who currently rides full rigid im still unsure i need all that travel

  33. Brilliant review, thanks 🤙🏽

  34. Mario Georgatsellos May 20, 2021 @ 1:58 am

    Sweet ride brother 🇨🇦🤙

  35. Cozinha Técnica May 20, 2021 @ 2:00 am

Please make a review of the cheaper Cube ebike models, hardtail. Most of us won´t buy a bike that costs 3999.

  36. Just why you dont say anything about the turbo levo reach its the same.yet you do about the tube.i have a levo and want to buy a cube as well. just curious

  37. Joseph Eustaquio May 20, 2021 @ 2:05 am

always enjoy your videos Rob!!! About to pull the trigger on a new eMTB in the coming months… I STILL CANT DECIDE ON WHICH ONE

  38. Would also love to see that 140 v 160 direct comparison, would also be another great vid Rob.

  39. 2coolforyourdog May 20, 2021 @ 2:06 am

Thanks Rob, your reviews are very good

  40. Here you get a fox38 with it. Not the lyrik

  41. 140 vs 160 video please

  42. Wish I could get Rob to comment on what’s better between the 2021 160 vs the Orbea Wild……I was getting a 160 then a 140 and now the wild!

  43. Warwick McCullough May 20, 2021 @ 2:11 am

Rob, I’m 6’ tall, 13stone and thinking of buying a cube eMTB, I currently ride a XL virus summet but wondering should I go L not XL, what you think?

  44. Hi rob! Thanks for the excellent review – if I got it right you’re 191cm and you rode the "L". Im 186cm and the local reseller would give me an "L" too…although the online calculator puts out an "XL" for me. What do YOU think?

  45. Stephen Brown May 20, 2021 @ 2:12 am

Got a top range cube, AMAZING BIKE

  46. I’d love to hear what you would pick between this vs your cheeb build?

  47. alberto di martino May 20, 2021 @ 2:15 am

Hi Rob, do you have tested the 160 tm 2021? What do you think about?

  48. Peter Mc Intosh May 20, 2021 @ 2:15 am

Do you know what stand was fitted ? Mine is on it’s way and the stand would be useful.

  49. Can it be Mulleted?

  50. Can someone advise me on sizing as a relative Newby. I owned a haibike allmtn medium and was perfect. Then bought a canyon spectral in medium which felt very small indeed so had to go. Looking to buy the cube 160 but weary of sizing. I’m 5’9” with a 30” leg.
