  1. Which size Brooks grips did you purchase? My wife Has the M/H handlebars. I would like to surprise her.

Great video, thanks for sharing. I have #3 #4 #5 #6 #7 plus the tool kit 🙂 I also have a Lezyne air pump. The head of the regular Brompton pump is to large for the front wheel

A week into e-Brompton ownership; Brooks B17 and Brooks GP1s put on (were on my S6L, so nicely broken in). Toolkit now swaps between the three Bromptons. Next mod is going to be Joseph Kousac low rise bar as I’m finding M bars a little too high (other bikes are S bars).

Thank you for using "proper English" it is a wrench!

  5. Are Frost+Sekers still trading? Placed an order but still waiting for confirmation of dispatch but no replies to my email or phone message.

Do you know if that computer mount would be compatible with a Polar V650?

  8. 😚

  9. Hey, great video! What size are the brooks grips? The website has options for 130/130, 130/100 or 100/100. Thank you!

Makes you wonder why Brompton didn’t use those accessories to come with the bike from new, considering the price?

  11. Hi, great tips, it was a real nice surprise to see my EZ Clamp Springs featured. Thank you for supporting the original designer.

  12. Inserts have my attention, I shall look into thoes, thank you.
    Take care.

Great vid. Thanks for the links to all the items mentioned. I’ve been trying to find out where to get the rubber spring clips for ages. I have also just ordered an electric upgrade so I have ordered two of the tyres.

  14. Can’t believe people say Spaz still, especially on a public video. Even in the 80s it was wrong.

  15. Tyres are knackered ,love that phrase

  16. Frost and sekers bag is excellent, personally using Nov design levers and clamps, magnet+springs keeps it in place and the levers are comfortable to turn when the battery is mounted

  17. Disappointed. Can’t see those nice legs too much on today’s video.

    Hi Michelle,
Thanks for this very informative video, I am about to have a new Brompton, and I would like to know if you needed to adjust the brake levers to fit this brooks ergonomic grip (130mm)?

  19. The word you use at 2.05 is hurtful and derogatory. These words suggest people with a disability are stupid or flawed, you may wish to review your phraseology.

  20. Carolle Enkelmann May 27, 2021 @ 2:17 am

what are you going to do with the old tires? And ideas or suggestion about readapting or recycling? Your video up-dates are rally appreciated.

  21. So far I have been able to mend punctures without removing the wheel(s), the way the Dutch people do it.
I think it would be much more difficult with a puncture located near the valve, though, especially the rear wheel, where access is more restricted.

  22. Someone will come up with a way to pack batteries in the handlebar post and the top tube. Together, they look like enough space to have the same amount of power as the pack they use now. Plus, two batteries charging separately ought to charge faster than one large battery. For some reason I get the feeling Brompton won’t do this, it will be another aftermarket product.

  23. For couples or families that include a very tall member the telescopic seatpost is essential, you can all share the bike.
A rear rack on the electric would be a must for me. The bag is very useful, and rolling easier, particularly on 4 ezy wheels.
    Thank you again

    Take care both

  24. PIERO ORIGINAL ITALY May 27, 2021 @ 2:26 am

Very informative 👍 big like for you

  25. Do you know if the Frost + Sekers mount is compatible with a Brooks saddle?

  26. Careful with any quick charger, they degrade the battery life quicker

  27. very nice

  28. David Burgess May 27, 2021 @ 2:30 am

Excellent video. I’m really interested in hearing about the Conti tyres for the Brompton. I’m currently on Schwable Marathon Plus but swapping would save over 400 gems. Have you had any punctures so far ?

  29. urbanfireblade May 27, 2021 @ 2:32 am

Excellent tips! Nicely made video, Toolkit hidden in the frame tube is a great way to carry one!

  30. Good video

  31. BROMPTONは、素晴らしいですね。

  32. Many thanks for the video which I found very helpful. I would like to get the Brooks grips but I don’t know what size? They come out in 3 different sizes! I have S shaped handle bars on my Brompton?

  33. Great video

  34. Bush- Radler Katalonien May 27, 2021 @ 2:40 am

    intetesting tipps….thanks!
    have a nice weekend

  35. Why the Tannus Armour and not Tannus Airless?

  36. Great Stuff (prenster)! And good information also! Thanks.
