  1. on these bafang rear wheel drive, is it possible to change out the crankset with something else? I presume there is a cadence sensor in the bottom bracket but it should accommodate most cranks right?

  2. I got error 7 mean the motor have a problem .. what should I do ?

  3. Do you know how to change axle and where can order parts thanks

  4. My torque arms came loose while I went to throttle from a dead stop. I got luck with the wires etc. But the two motor hub bolts are misaligned now by a few degrees. Can I use two wrenches to align them back? Thanks

  5. I have the same rear hub motor with tire which doesnt turn round. The body of the motor turns like an egg. Obviously the axis has a problem.
The motor kit was bought from com_buy_pleased on ebay. No help and no support from chineese com_buy_pleased As mechanical engineer I now have testet the axis which has a bump.

  6. Why would you break this open like a brute once a year just to check that didn’t break it opening it up??? seems a useless but risky maintenance to me…

  7. Hello Is it possible to provide the coil winding diagram of the 48 volt 250 watt hub motor?

I have the same problem. Could i use 6 Inch gear puller ? for my HUB motor 36V 500W. thanks

  13. If you have a sensorless controller (no need for hall sensors) you can take advantage of the extra space to add larger gauge phase wires👍 when u only need 3 wires instead of 8 it makes things easier

  18. Is it possible to upgrade the motor on my ebike?

  19. You need a bearing puller. much easier, less hammering electrical – also fixes the issue if you have the wire coming out the end of the axle

Brother.. I am having a problem getting the plate back on… No matter how many times I hit it with a mallet, it still stays approx 2-3mm off from secure contact. Can you advise me here?

  21. Clinton Boucheix January 9, 2021 @ 11:11 pm

How would you remove and replace the bearings? I have some worn bearings on mine that’s making this constant clicking.

  22. bittasweet symphony January 9, 2021 @ 11:14 pm

  23. Mahmoud Ghazayel January 9, 2021 @ 11:17 pm

Hey mate… I’m having a problem with a similar hub motor.
The wheel, even if it’s off, won’t be turning smoothly.
I’ve followed your instruction, and everything seems to be good.

But I think the problem is the friction between the motor box and the magnets.

here is an image to show you where, I think, is the problem. (In yellow)
