  9. Vasilis Giannatos May 14, 2021 @ 1:11 am

Aren’t wider tires more difficult to cycle on?

  10. David Matthew May 14, 2021 @ 1:12 am

Um, there are no bikes to be bought. Haven’t you noticed? Wish you guys would do more regular reporting on this until things actually improve. Otherwise you’re just dangling fantasies before our eyes. Meanwhile Dan is running. Hey Dan, sell your bikes to someone who needs them 🙂

  11. Diogo Fernandes May 14, 2021 @ 1:12 am

Carrera vanguish what tier would you put that bicycle

  12. MonsterManish May 14, 2021 @ 1:13 am

How to buy your first bike?
Go to the store and buy a nice looking bike.

  13. Alfie Whitehead May 14, 2021 @ 1:14 am

This was incredibly helpful! I have a second hand racer bike and I’m looking to upgrade as I’m getting better. I didn’t realise the impact some different components could have. Thank you GNC! 😁

who needs a bike when they have a rock

  15. So excited to find a helpful video. As someone who has spent the last 2 years shredding off a little over 150 pounds of body fat, I am so excited to start picking up new healthy active hobbies, especially cycling! Thanks

  16. My first road bike was a btwin triban 3, the used market on my area was basically overpriced hispter 80’s bikes, at least 200eur for a 13kg chunk of rusty metal 10 speed. So I purchased a brand new bike for 400 with modern everything and that didn’t need any maintentance. It’s not my main bike (upgraded with another btwin) anymore, but I still use it and rides well, that bike has seen some really long rides.

  17. i want a bike i can commute, hook a trailer for my children …

Looking at buying our first trekking bikes. Looking at Peugeot, Cube and Radon. Would appreciate any input on pros/cons etc etc. Thank You

  19. I love you guys so much…. Video talking about all the questions I had, aimed at the brands I was looking for and the last minute dedicated to the exact bike.

  20. Another thing about alloy/steel bike components (frames and forks) you can repair them. Carbon fiber is not as repairable.

  21. You need to make a video on how to buy a bike when they are sold out))

  22. I think I came at the wrong place.

Was about to buy a mtb but ended up getting a gravel bike

  23. second hand is a far better option if you know what youre doing

  27. Rc 500

  28. That feel when you want to make speed demon, that you use for commuting at mock speed.

I toss the handlebars and seat amediately with the fork, replace the handlebars with BMX options, pop a fat man seat down, and stick mudguards. chain guards, and a coat guard on mine. Then get a really nice rack.

Team-up video with Decathlon – "Choosing a reputable brand is advisable"
    big O O F

(don’t get me wrong, Decathlon is awesome, but their bikes are just mediocre)

  30. "it is important to not spend all your money on the bike alone" me; all my money in the best bike😂

  31. Max Mustermann May 14, 2021 @ 1:41 am

    Good luck with that kite.

  32. At first I thought this was going to be a thinly veiled Decathlon advert but I’m glad I stuck with it – really informative and useful video!

  46. dipanjoli devi May 14, 2021 @ 1:57 am

I literally ride a 3000INR(around 50 USD) bike(it’s not a typical road bike btw) and am here watching these professionals.

  47. Coach Gregs Anabolic icecream May 14, 2021 @ 2:00 am

Anybody have link to the first bike they showed?

  48. Hydraulic brakes can be a bit more difficult to service. Don’t be scared off by it, it’s not hard, but something to consider.

  49. oscar guijosa May 14, 2021 @ 2:02 am

I don’t think a place like Decathlon exists anywhere in my state (I live in the US)

  50. The thing is, there is no difference between 7 to 10 speed in my experience.
