GenZe Recreational e102 Video Review – Affordable Step-Thru Cruiser Electric Bike
http://electricbikereview.com/genze/recreational-e102/ A good balance of affordable options (weaker motor, entry level parts and one color) with a thoughtful custom design (mid-mounted battery, multiple frame sizes, integrated wires). Large display panel is easy to read but not removable, independent button pad is convenient to operate when riding. Relaxed upright position, relatively quiet operation and two drive modes (assist or throttle on demand). EBR was paid to perform this review #Sponsored We try to be honest, thorough, and fun! They are selling these at Costco for $1299 with a 350w, it’s a pretty compelling deal.
Did they mention that the price point was $3000 for an entry-level e-bike, or am I mistaken?
Why did you shove the camera in their faces lmo
Has the GenZe been a commercial success in San Francisco?
*it’s been great!☞☞>**share4.photo/ebicycle?Ѽ ** It rides on dirt trails and paved paths and it works flawlessly. If you’re curious about electric bikes, but don’t want to leap immediately into some of the very expensive options out there, this bike is a good starting point. Very good-looking shiny color. The front brake is extra strong! Don’t use in case of emergency or you will front-flip it. The soldering is very precise with no sharp edges nor ugly (uneven) marks.I connected a side basket to the rear rack(I installed a rear frame), making this compact bike an effective hauler for trips to the shop, and for carrying my book to study. Overall, I had fun with the electric bike and loved it.*
These Genze e100 series bikes are available used/refurbished from the manufacturer at good prices, starting from below $800 see https://www.genze.com/nearly-new-2/
What microphone did you use for this video? The audio is fantastic!
I imagine P.V. is on it’s way. There looks like there may be just about enough surface area over the battery box for a respectable solar panel. This could extended back a bit towards over the crank without interfering with pedalling. Good sunshine in California, but would it take too long to charge? Maybe next year when, I hope, pv get smaller cheaper? Thanks. Those handlebars look very comfortable and yes, good for weaving in traffic.
Good stuff man keep up the great reviews!! Still deciding what Ebike I should get. Been leaning toward an elf lol or maybe just keep it conventional. If you don’t live in a house or garage to put it in, I think the elf would get easily stolen
I like the shape of the handlebars.
I like the step thru and handlebars. The motor could be more powerful. Thanks for the review.
JUST BECAUSE YOU CAN AFFORD TO DROP 6 GRAND ON A FUCKING BIKE DOESN’T MEAN TO MOST PEOPLE 1500 DOLLARS IS "AFFORDABLE"
250w not super powerful, but I am still impress how quickly it took off from 0 mph when it was on full throttle. Good enough for me. 🙂
