How to Build an EBIKE Lighting Setup! Wiring Diagram, Parts List, 3D Printed Parts Made Available!

In this video I show you my ebike lighting set up and give you all of the details to build your own! This ebike lighting set up includes LED headlights, front LED turn signals, rear turn LED signals, rear LED brake lights, rear LED running lights, and a strobing emergency front headlight function!

Be sure to watch through to the ebike lighting wiring diagram in this video where I explain how everything is wired.

All of the 3D printed design files are available here on my thingiverse page:

There you will also find a parts list for the hardware and light components used in this ebike lighting set up. Follow the link!

This entire set up is powered by a single Milwaukee M12 tool battery. Again, you can find the design files for the battery holder in the thingiverse link.

  1. Great project. I still cannot understand why no-one sells anything like this off the self.

I have bought the parts, but newer got to actually do the mechanical parts, but I share my ideas here,
Some ideas could be combined with your.

You do not have to print the switch holder, i think this would do the job and cost very little.

How to get 12v from drive 36/48/52v drive battery:

A circuit that would allow switch low/high lights with the horn button.

  2. I want that sir how to buy and how mucth one set

  3. Why don’t just hook it up to the ebike battery with a step down?

  4. Hi, and May I ask which piece on the thingiverse is the one that you connect the front light signal to the post? Thank you so much

  5. Thankyou for a great video….with all the light’s on , how long does the battery last ?

Would this work for and electric scooter 3200w watts

  7. Man I just found your channel and was so excited because I bought a kaabo wolf warrior electric scooter and just needed front and rear turn signals but couldn’t find any good help! I tried all your links and they dont work. Maybe you could just answer a couple questions…… if I buy 4 12v motorcycle turn signals and a electric flasher relay can I install the lights to the flasher to a toggle switch to a 12v milwaukee battery? Would it power the flashers fine without any diodes or resistors? I know very little! People are telling me motorcycle flashers that are 12v really need 13-16v’s and a 12v milwaukee will not be able to light them up bright enough….. I REALLY HOPE YOU SEE THIS AND CAN HELP…… THIS IS SO IMPORTANT TO ME FOR SAFETY REASONS! THANKS FOR ANY HELP YOU CAN GIVE ME!!!!!!

  8. I like your idea, it seems simple and easy to understand. By the way, where can I buy the 12V battery pack and wires?

  9. Love it!

  10. Hi, Do you also make every thing together for sale?

i have my diy turn signal as well. i use 2 pin flasher for led i bought online. and i tap it to my 48v ebike battery with a step down voltage to 12v. I purchased a motorbike turn signal switch cheaply, left -rigt switch plus hazard switch in one and that works fine. However, my headlight has its own integrated rechargeable battery because it is 5v, but also thinking of tapping a new 12v headlight soon. And that’s how everything works for my ebike. Nice video and wiring diagram 👍

  12. Good video. I’m building an electric motorcycle and I’m probably going to copy this. But I will keep the headlight on all the time. Why didn’t you power this from the main battery?

  13. Wow this is cool im wanting to wire up my motorcycle as was stripped for track so no wire loom where can i find ur printable diagram etc for me to follow towards doing lights on my bike.

  14. May I ask what switch did you use for this system? Thank you

Great idea but unfortunately none of the links work on Ebay or Amazon. Also, what run times did you experience? Thanks for the effort! Hope you update links

I also cannot find the "full parts list" on your Thingiverse page. Can you point send that link to me, too?
