In depth Jetson Bolt review and how the Bell qualifier DLX saved my life.
In this video I talk about my experience with the Jetson Bolt. I love this thing and would buy it again in a heartbeat. Front brake on something with a wheel base that short =flippy floppy on the facey .pretty sure they tried it and that would have been the result so they left it off.

I picked up a refurb that was pretty much new. Jetson support was pretty good to help me reset the bluetooth password. I’m a little concerned after I read reviews about battery longevity (getting really bad then dying in a few months.)
How long have you had yours? I love mine so far, I find myself wanting to ride it more often than my fullsize 750W ebike. Gets my 230lb fat ass to 15mph easy.
I’ve been scouring Youtube for videos on this since someone suggested it too me a couple of months ago as an inexpensive alternative to one of the more expensive mini electric bikes, so thanks for uploading this, and sorry to hear about you accident, fortunate that you had a decent helmet. You’re right about the front brake deletion. The product this was derived from does have dual breaks, but is significantly more expensive and goes by a number of different brands, but I feel like it’s not impossible to install yourself. I’ve also seem people add a peddle crank and larger battery. Of course these things void the warranty and the added expense would change it’s affordable profile.

I used the pro version with the pedals not this model…..but honestly it鈥檚 the same thing……but they are a blast! Perfect for going for a beer run down the street, take the dog out go to the gym or just ride around for a while. Perfect for what it is. Not super fast not super fancy it鈥檚 just right for A to B. Going to install a suspension seat post for the few bumps on the road. Amazon sells cheap ones for 30 bucks

They left the front brake off so they dont get sued when you lowside or go over the bars..they basically leave it to you to add it on at your own risk.

I ended up putting a pair of center pull breaks on the front of mine. So instead of there "upgrade" of another pair of their obvious do-able front disk breaks. It works very well in combination with the rear. Just ruff up the paint first on the rim with steal wool., you’ll thank me. Its a cheap solution too.
I just got one. I鈥檓 165 lbs. On a full charge I鈥檓 only getting 9 miles. Should I get a replacement?
Hey, I was planning on getting one of these so I could use it to get to college and work and stuff, do you think it would be fine for a 6-8 mile trip daily/every day? I could probably charge it between uses too, so that wouldn’t be a problem but like do you think it would be a viable option?
