The front-firing bass port reduces boundary coupling to allow flexible positioning in the room while the engineered surface reduces diffraction distortion. I have the 5 inch KRKs and I am ABSOLUTELY pleased with them! The sound is INCREDIBLE but Mr. ThaiBox 123 you WILL need a pair of isolation pads, else, your office will transform into a big woofer 🙂 🙂 🙂

Hey, man. I have a noise in my Krk 4 (in the 2 speakers). I have a Focusrite Scarlett Solo interfaz. The only connection it’s with an RCA cable. I tried with 2 different RCA cables, but still i hear the noise.

I notice that you make a lot of sweeping statements about products in your videos. Such an example is in this video where you say the Rokits are "some of the most accurate monitor speakers you are going to get". Seeing as I paid extra for the 6" VXT series from KRK I can say that even mine are not the most accurate speakers despite being labeled as semi-professional. Don’t fool anyone, the KRK Rokit series are good, and especially good for the price. But they are not "the most accurate speakers you are going to get". They can be : "The most accurate speakers you are going to get for the price".
I’m sorry if this comes across as hating, but it is only meant for constructive criticism 🙂

Having tried these rokit monitors, and JBL LSR-305 monitors, I would say the difference is night and day. I’m not saying these monitors (the rokit ones) are bad, because you know what, those are fantastic speakers, BUT I’m also into music production and having mixed on both these JBL’s I’m talking about and those rokit ones, I must say that the rokits did dissapoint me abit in the high end frequencies, they didn’t sound as clear as the JBL’s. The buttom end though, the rokits win big time over the JBL’s, making them very ideal for DJ’s, and generally music where the bass end is vital/most important. The JBL’s though, has a very flat EQ to begin with, and doesn’t have that "fake" buttom end, and is very well balanced when it comes to making music with "real" instruments, (Guitar, bass, Piano etc…) so what I’m saying is that, try different monitors and find the ones you like the best, and there are many options.

Adam/guys, any recommendations for a 5.1 setup. Was looking at the Logitech Z906. I have a PC and a few games consoles- using optical cables.. Wasn’t sure about going for the full blown AV receiver setup? Also looked at going for a sound card and studio monitors but need a sound system for both PC and consoles. And help/advice is greatly appreciated! Cheers

if you’re a person that loves bass than you should go atleast vor the krk rokit 6 g3. I got them. Before the 6’s i had the 5’s. i returned them and switched them for the 6’s because they sound wayyy better. if you want some good speakers dont’go for the 5’s and NEVER for the 4’s. If you only just want to listen to music not very loud music than you can go for the 4’s but if youre a musician like me than you should go atleast for the 6’s.
