Lectric Bike XP ~ Your first "Must Do" upgrades (under $75)
These are what I consider the first 2 upgrades you must do for the Lectric Bike XP. A new extra wide seat and suspension seatpost. These 2 ebike mods are under $75 total and will make a HUGE difference in comfort for your Lectric Bike XP riding experience. The Lectric eBikes Lectric XP is one of the most affordable folding fat tire electric bikes I could find and it had great reviews. If you really do no other upgrades to this bike, I’d recommend the upgraded seatpost and extra wide seat.

I bought a Leitner ebike and I love it and I too installed a Satori seat post.
What….no shotgun holder?
I just got my echo trick Hammer bike yesterday I don’t understand why they make the seats like this? I know there’s an allen key on the bottom and I wonder if it’s adjustable because if I went down 4in I could touch the ground. Or I will have to go to my bicycle shop and buy one so that I can touch the ground and towa wagon

Have you ever been to ride the Virginia Creeper Bike Trail, in Virginia? My wife & I went with our youngest son and a few friends, a few years ago and LOVED IT! We鈥檝e been wanting to get go back ever since, but we just haven鈥檛 made it back yet.
Steve, you’ve got the seat post turn backwards. The seat rail adjustments screws should be on the backside of the seat. 馃ぃ U r right about the upgrades, I did the same on my wife’s and my bikes. It made a world of difference. Also, running with 20 psi in the tires help too.

My XP came with a free Lectric suspension seatpost, and it feels very stiff. Do you think it鈥檚 a good idea to upgrade?

Wouldn’t that seat post be a little too short compared to the stock one? It doesn’t seem like you can raise the seat high much compared to the stock.
I purchased the Bikeroo seat with the Satori seat post a couple of months ago. This is a much needed improvement on the ride however, one of the seat springs came unsprung in a short time and caused the seat to drop to one side. I temporally fixed it with zip ties and had it replaced via Amazon return policy. My friend has the exact same setup and one of his seat springs has also come unsprung and dropped down. I have since ordered a second bike for my wife and will most likely put on a Cloud 9 seat over the Bikeroo due to the concerns for longevity of that product.

I suggest you get a mirror for the left side of the handlebar and get rid of that useless bell, cannot stand riding w/o being able to see who or what is coming up behind me or make lane changes.
I love that bike ecotric Hammer but it’s more like a 125 dirt bike. It gave me freedom. They should not send a bike with the handlebar thing loose. I could have died because they have bottom thing with two Allen screws was loose when I took off. Maybe that’s my fault I will never put together a bike again and not check everything. Then I got it fixed and I took off and I had no clue how fast this bike was and how hard it is to steer with those big tires I’m used to riding a regular GT bike I had a really nice one. If you can fix a regular bike you can do this. I love my hammer bike but I’d say be very careful cuz I almost died and crashed into a van instead I went up the curb and crashed the sidewalk and man did it hurt because I want straight down on my half of leg. Once I figured out how to write it I was the happiest person in this town or in the western New York I mean what better option is there to a wheelchair than this? And I know the cops are going to pull me over I can guarantee you I’ve been pulled over on a regular bicycle and they were trying to give me a DWI back in the day. They said I went over the line I was drunk I would never advise ever drinking one beer on this smoking weed no don’t even try it on this bike you just might die you got to be careful on these. But if you’re careful they will last you forever you can never have to buy another bike I don’t think so I should have gotten a smaller one with thinner tires and made it faster. I would not say it’s 4 in town but I go out of town I go over a lot of things I really tested that yesterday and it really worked and I was on 5 cuz I got one leg. The motor was really hot after 12 miles but I could not believe I even went 12 miles. These bikes are amazing. If I was a Salesman I would be the best salesman ever because I love these bikes
