PIM Archer Video Review – $1.8k Stealthy, Sturdy, 25 mph Electric Bike, Power in Motion

https://electricbikereview.com/power-in-motion/archer/ The Power In Motion (PIM) Archer is a stealthy electric bike with unique grip shifter design that doubles as a power selector for pedal assist, sturdy 750-watt gearless hub motor, 25 mph top speed, hydraulic disc brakes with motor inhibitors activate regenerative braking. Rigid 12 mm Rear axle with standard 15 mm front thru-axle provide strength and stiffness, Kevlar-reinforced tires reduce flats, the bike feels solid but still responsive which is important given the higher top speeds and heavier weight. Magura TS6 100 mm air suspension fork pairs nicely with the custom plus-sized 3″ high-volume tires to smooth out the ride and provide stability, ergonomic grips add comfort, the cockpit is extremely clean and organized. No bottle cage mounts, the kickstand is mid-mounted and blocks the left pedal when deployed, no integrated lights or fenders, you basically have to shift gears in order to go faster so your cadence is more limited, back pedaling and brake levers activate regen which is neat. The company also goes by PIM Bicycles. EBR was paid to perform this review #Sponsored We try to be honest, thorough, and fun! Comparison tools, shop directory, and forums at: ElectricBikeReview.com

  1. 25 minutes of video talking about brakes and about keys,/ Ebike is not about brakes and keys.. or acesories or kickstand and pedals/ glad i stopped watching after 4 minutes, enough is enough

  2. Take my money.I would love a throttle but you can have all my money. Looks good and fun.

  3. Thanks for the nice review, keep up the good work.

  4. Anyone know if a 750w gear-less motor compares to a 500w geared motor? I heard gear-less are substantially less powerful.

  5. Suggested Option: A stick on letter ‘P’ for the name "PIM"

Any way to disable the speed limiter?

  7. I didn’t though he spoke too fast, and I did find interesting the review. Just the air noise was a little loud. That cadence sensor was new for me.

  8. I have PIM eBike, and I’m getting error codes, but can’t find the site with meanings of these codes.
If anyone knows the site, will they please add a link here? Thanks!

  9. Hey Brent i just wanted to say you are doing a great job and have been improving significantly. Excellent work.

  10. Excellent review. Be careful with your one hand driving.

  11. Great video, people spend far to much time finding things to complaint about, Chill Out, enjoy life..

  12. *My friend and✳✳>**share4.photo/ebicycle?Н177 **   I each bought one of these bikes several weeks ago and have loved riding around our rural town. We have some inclines on our bench area and the pedal assist really makes it easy to get around and enjoy our bike rides.*

  13. WoW really good bike for the price.

  14. Very cool looking bike. Definitely one of the cooler ones. Has pretty great features for the price too.

  15. What helmet are you wearing?

  16. What is meant by pim. It mean we can’t buy in nepal only in us,canada, europe.why do they don’t

  17. Huge potential problem is if you need to down shift to climb a hill, then you get less power. That is counter productive…

  18. look quality bike there..nice setup

  19. This is the one!!!

  20. I want to buy eletric bike in nepal like this. can i get in nepal yes or not .if not then why can u tell me

  21. they need a throttle option .

  22. That cable management makes me want to vomit. Not at all attractive. Keep that stuff for behind your computer, there’s no good use for it on a production model bike.

  23. I think the price is a mistake. Does Magura even make a fork for less than a grand?

  24. Excellent review, Brent! I’m glad you explored the regenerative braking further during the road test, it helped clear up some questions I had. Quite a lot of bike for the money!

  25. It is called a micro switch they are used in auto turn signals in switch that are used frequency

  26. Is there way to modify this bike to do a Throttle only?

  27. I like this bike

They give you all the info except the most important, DISTANCE.

  29. Regenerative braking may be "neat" but the tests show that on an e-bike it is inconsequential and a novelty. You need to start of with the meat rather than the little details. 8ah?? Weak.

  30. I have 2500 miles on my PIM Bike.. Love it. awesome customer support. Review was fine. I have the Mid step Archer with Planet Bike fenders and a topeak rack.

  31. Tim of free thought December 29, 2020 @ 11:15 pm

Price is becoming "reasonable " . Don’t like the battery connection or the wireing at the bars .Don’t know why you need a display or variable assist .

  32. Nice bike for the money

  33. Nice bikes for the money!!

  34. DementedDistraction December 29, 2020 @ 11:16 pm

    Rad looking bike…but pedal-assist only?
    bleh

  35. Some of these bikes I really love but no fenders and no lights and no kick stand these are things I need of course integrated lights would be a major plus in my book

  36. Worthless info on the braking system and nothing more.Total failure.

  37. A lot of hardware for $1700. But this bike is not even on pim’s website. Also an entirely new frame design I have never seen before. Last comment is for PIM: that’s the name you want to go with, really?
