Excellent video. Well explained
Actually the presta valve to schrader adaptor need to be shorten in this example, if the presta valve top doesn’t touch and compress the schrader valve "air chuck" interior tip, air will not flow into presta valve assembly. Just need to cut or grind down adapter top slightly so presta valve when installed on adapter is even or just slightly lower than outside diameter of the adapter.
Hi there und entschuldigen Sie mich, mein Deutsch ist einbisschien "💩💩". Ich bin Sofia Walter aus Hüfingen (Deutschland). I have a special VENTIL und ich weiß es überhaupt absolut nicht how to put the air. Do you have an email, so I can send to You the foto with my Ventil and maybe if you are so good and kind to answer me or send my email a video how to rezolve my problem and witch kind of electric pump I should buy. Thank you very much for any help you can give to me. Greetings and have a nice evening.
Schönen DonnerstagAbend und gesund bleiben ‼️Sofia Walter 👍👍
This video was so helpful. Gracias bro 🙋🏽♂️
Wonderful that is very helpful. Many thanks.
You should show also the Dunlop valve and Dunlop pump
Thanks for sharing
Thank you!
Ty my man
Thank you
Presta valves exist because road racing wheels are super narrow,
narrow wheels with bigger Schrader
valves create a weak spot. Presta
valves do generally hold more
PSI but utterly useless for anything
other than road bikes. Presta valves
are weaker & more fragile do to
its long slim design. Its length
is not necessary. I hate flats.
Old school : tuffy liners, thorn
proof tubes & slime.
New school : tubeless
fillet new tube, glue tube to
rim, add sealant & air.
actualy as a refrigeration technician i can tell you with 100% accuracy that the shradder valve cap does stop air leakage and without it you will definately eventually evacuate the air in the tube. also the valve is an incorrect term (seeing you think you know it all and you dont) it is very much a "one way valve". it gives a more accurate description to the workings of the part. i could further educate you but im not going to as the rest of the theory is trade secreted. dont be like this guy in your future descriptions of automations.
that was the exact info i was looking for. thanks
Thank u for the lesson. I just have my first presta valve bike. Appreciated.
Thank you.
Great help
I thought I was doing something wrong

Thanks for the great video.
I must thank you so much for this video. I’m helping my friend sell her recumbent bike and it has this presta valve. Your video explain it to me… Both tires are flat. I couldn’t figure out how to put air in them. I’m 74 years old….. And will try to learn anything. Thanks again. Who says you can’t teach old dogs new tricks. LOL..
Aircraft also use shearer valves not sure why bikes think prestas are “high end”
Can i use the adapter/converter permanently? In other words, is it safe to leave the presta to shrader adapter on the valve???
Presta valves are for dudes in spandex.
so does it turn in to a schader valve or is it just for putting in air?
Explained very well. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks, just bought a new bike and you really simply explained how I could get going. Great job!
Presta Valve is a pain ..if you do off road riding you will need Tire Puncture Tyre Repair Solution try and get that in a Presta …..Schrader for me .
7 years later you’re still helping people with this video. I couldn’t figure out why my adapter wasn’t putting through any air to the tube? I had no clue about loosening that top ‘thingy’. TY very much 🙂
Thanks so much for this. That was very helpful. Now on to Avid BB7 Disc Brakes.

How much pressure on PSI can these valves handle? I’m looking to put one on my diesil car between the high pressure fuel pump and the infection rail? Which would save me so much messing about taking things apart.
Presta are a piece of CRAP.
You video demo has help me my issue. Thank you so much!!
very informative 🤩
Thank you SO MUCH!! I have been perplexed by this for some time, and when I took my bike on a ride and noticed the need for air I was out of luck. I truly appreciate this.
Can you leave the presta valve adapter on?
That is just what I needed. Thanks
Very helpful!!!
extremely helpful video
Thank you.
Man I had a problem with that presta valve. I did not know that I need to unscrew this little thing at the top to let the air in. Thanks for the tip 😉
Thank you!
I have a new m2s ebike. I went to check air in tire and valve stem went down in tire and let the air out. Is there away I can get the valve to come back out to its original height
What name of that pump?
Seth Rogan?
Thank you!!!
thanks you so much.
Exactly what I needed to know. Thank you so very much!
