The actual deal https://youtu.be/HdBaZVwlfVA. It’s the simple things that are the most genius.

  2. They went big

  3. Why does Lori always act like that

  4. I don’t get it. Aside from entering the foray of the e-skateboard marketplace, the entire company hinges around these wheels.

  5. They’re getting bigger, slowly. Imagine if they catered to the electric skateboarding community.

  6. Don't Do Me boo! April 4, 2021 @ 12:04 am

We rarely ever respond on threads, but seeing there are a few random attacks (from people that clearly haven’t ridden the wheels) based on falsities it seems best to set to the record straight.
    1. Shark Wheels are indeed a different shaped WHEEL. It is not a tread pattern and does not have protrusions. When you see it in its singular form it is very obvious to see the shape. The wheels are in fact completely flat on 6 sides. They are also perfectly circular. They are a hybrid between a cube and a sphere, which looks like a perfect sine wave depending on the angle you look from. See here, it’s pretty amazing actually. This shape rolls perfectly! – https://ibb.co/mytZ0B7
    2. A kid claiming they don’t sell? Clearly they have never seen our books. We are a new company (12 months in the market) that is organically growing every single month. We keep getting picked up by more and more retailers and are now with the largest distribution company in the United States. We have exclusive distributors in 15 countries with rave reviews pouring in. In fact, we think we might be the fastest growing skateboard company in the marketplace. UPDATE: As Shark Wheel is now a public company, we can say that we have grossed $750,000 inside the last 2 months on skateboard sales alone.
    3. Great skaters are riding Shark Wheels more everyday. In fact, we’ve already won multiple international competitions, just in the last few months. We have pro skaters on the Shark Wheel team and they are helping design our downhill wheel (see below).
    4. Our current line of wheels is not designed for downhill. Our DNA, Sidewinder, Mako, and California Rolls are designed specifically for cruising and freeride. Our 75mm downhill wheel is currently in development. UPDATE: Shark Wheel now has an electric board, the Shark Electric THIN and POWER models. Great value, range and speed. Wheels are made in California with the highest quality high-rebound polyurethane in the world.
    5. Our prices are middle to high end of the market. Our development costs were substantially higher than any other company because we were committed to true innovation. Our molds took 7 months to figure out when everyone told us it couldn’t be done.
    6. We go over rough terrain better than any wheel in the world. Period. We go over wet conditions better than any wheel in the world. We are engineering our downhill wheel to be among the best in the world right now, but it is not available yet. The general idea of the Shark Wheel is that you get the benefits of a thin wheel and a wide wheel in one design.  UPDATE: This has been scientifically proven in years of University testing, lab testing and real-world testing. Hundreds of 5 star reviews on Amazon now.
    7. Beg on Kickstarter someone said? We launched our company with just an idea and a couple prototypes on Kickstarter like many other companies and did better than we could have ever imagined. Launching a Kickstarter campaign is not begging, it is a great way for a business to see if the market adopts your technology. We highly recommend it for raising funds and making great contacts.
Everyone that actually tries the wheels for their intended purpose loves them.

  18. I have the fhatom wheel type, this product is awesome I live in southern Cali in it helps me get over the dirt and small pebbles on the sidewalk.

  19. and yet in reality there wheels dont really sell, they are one of the most over priced in the market, they aren’t square they are actually round with protrutions on the side, the skate wheel is terrible and mocked in the skating community, and most of the sales is selling stocks to wholesalers and the amounts of money that they made form their kickstarter.
