What is your top speed?
I just got my 8000 watts one delivered on Friday, four days shy of 3 months wait. It was shipped on 22/9 and took 1 month for assembling., held 14 days in port even when it was cleared by the custom. All in good nick. Mine got the controller and battery already install with power lead detached. I had to put on the front wheel,paddle and front handle bar. The bike is very heavy and it is totally a new riding experience compare to a traditional bike, cornering will take some experience because the normal bike is light and nimble. The PAS really is not working that well with a 8000 watter. I am going to do a lot of low speed right just to get myself ready to ride on the road.
Steve could you tell me what battery you are using for your bike? I have just built a chinese stealth bomber with no battery. People in the UK want 拢1300 for a battery and I would like to know if this is worth it or just get a chinese built battery, cheers.

Hey, I will be ordering an ebike like this aswell, it’s 72v 5000w with 72v 40ah battery. How long do you think the battery will last only on electric? How fast would the 5000w motor drain the 40ah battery?

It’s a beautiful machine…but they need to take the pedals off!! These overpowered…basically an electric motorcycle…which is cool! Are causing a problem or can as we go mainstream.
Ebike have settled into the 3class system which works pretty well. These are so far beyond that it’s wild. OK. The problem is the damn pedals!! No one doing 60kph is going to be pedaling! They’re a way to exploit ebikes ability to skirt regulation…..tags..insurance, etc.
I know this is a toughie subject! You know the saying about opinions are like assholes!(we All got em!) I got mine. Regardless of where you stand it’s an issue that’s going to need clarification!

I think these bikes are great and show what’s possible for cheap ( ish ).
But getting them road legal is the issue needs to be sorted really.
And keeping thieves away is another issue.
Riding these things is another level, I have full motor cycle licence and ride bicycles too, but my conversion ebike build is more fun than both lol.
