drop the saddle bag filled with more things than my girlfriends handbag
What bearings are you adding that "little extra grease" to? By and large, they’re all sealed bearings.
You could also, Use the right tyre pressure and tyre size for your rim.
I know many customers rolling around on 28mm tyres on rims that are more Aero with 23mm tyres. (They use 28s because they only read the size on the tyre and don’t check the real size… they think they are using a 25mm)
Also, reduced weight helps, lost of items on your bike are unnecessary. The plastic caps on your valves for example.
Eso… is that you ?

1. Clean your bike
2. Use your gears properly
3. Get faster tyres
4. Tidy the front end (exposed cables)
5. Ride in a more aero position
Riding with flat forearms absolutely kills your triceps if you do it for more than a few minutes at a time.
Maybe I can ride faster more cheaply by watching some youtube past professional riders going down the nice hill roads in a race. There! I’m riding way faster in my nice air condition room / cushy desk chair / computer monitor!
Get someone else to ride it.
Tyre pressure optimized for the expected surface, saves a lot of watts 🙂 Many riders pumps to high a pressure.
We love you from Iraq
Why put chain lube on the outside? 🤷🏼♂️
U forgot about losing weight…
Skinsuits and aero helmets like the bontrager ballista also offer nice gains.
And train more.
I’m a kid, and me and friend race our Walmart grade bikes, And mine has a basket, a carrying piece on the back, fenders, its made for short rides on the beach, And We do endurance Racing, I keep winning, while they have great looking mountain bikes.
Yep, simple once said, but I loved the forearms tip. Amazing how unaware of my body position I become when lost in a ride.
Mash the pedals harder. It’s free.
What about your cycling clothes?
I think it’s worth to add them.
Integrated bars are not cheap… and if it’s cable-based braking and shifting, zip tying might compromise the braking and shifting performance. Possibly justifiable for hydraulic-actuated brakes.
Start training

Latex tubes are a pain ,, hard to install and flat very easy
Hello
1- since I moved to waxing my chain and considering I don’t ride outdoor when it rains I am cleaning my bike with… 2-3 wet wipes after each ride and that is all 😉
2- no gear can help if your stamina is gone 😉
3- UK roads push me to use resilient tires rather than extra light and fast I am not able to help here – Gatorskin is ok 😉
4- replacing cables to cable less system is far from cheap my friends ;-(
5- 100% agreed and in place already – as much as I can of course – and I believe this is the MOST IMPORTANT and THE CHEAPEST way of getting faster – provided we don’t suffer uphill with 50rpm with the speed of 6km/h 😉
Maintenance, Clean your bike, eat, train, sleep.
A set of basic Aero clip ons makes maintaining that aero position easier and more comfortable. If you don’t mind having them on.
Why are you putting degreaser directly on the disc brake rotor?! That will definitely make you a public enemy and faster, especially when you try to brake. Isopropyl alcohol on rotors is the way to stop. Degreaser leaves an oily residue that will contaminate your disc pads and reduce braking force and definitely bring the noise. Believe the hype.
Number one answer: get yo-self some bigger legs! Them scrawnies are holding you back.
Bro!!! You put chain lube on the wrong side of the chain….
HAHAH slam your stem for the photo… LOL
Steroids, pound for pound that is.

In line with #5 – no baggy kit, aero helmet and shave those legs
1. Lose weight
Hi guys, You might want to rethink the red border on the thumbnail. Each video I think "I’ve already seen this one apparently" but it’s just the red border. Almost didn’t watch. (YouTube puts a red bottom border on video’s you’ve whatched / progress bar)
Be a wheel sucker for huge aero gains.
Every time I ride my bike with a power meter to make help me go faster. It says to me ride an electric bike! Also after all the cleaning and lubing properly my power meter says another. You weigh too much. Get an electric bike or trade your bike in and get a used gas scooter. O well. All the hints from this video doesn’t help me. Might as well take the public transit.
Buy an ebike
I’m so going to keep my forearms horizontal from now on! 94w!
