I just purchased Allant+ 8S for myself and another for my wife. Can you tell me which handle bar extension and mirror set that you have on the bike?

  6. If you get to 88 say hi to Marty for me.

How is the Allant been treating you so far? How many miles have you got? So far so good in recent update? Have you added any new accessories? My bike is going good, almost 1800 miles, no update for me yet.

  8. Just purchased the Allant+ 8S yesterday and picking up this weekend. I’m very interested in the seat post rear rack you have … where did you find it ?? Trek doesn’t have any rear racks due to the integrated rear wheel fender setup. Also, do you have the suspension seat post ? Thanks for the video … quite informative.

Do you have thoughts on software update coming for the Bosch motor? Supposedly increases power. Got myself suspension seat post now too. I still love the power, so much fun.

  10. My plan is to get the Allant+ 8s and add a the Allant 7s shocks and rack. Then it is ready …
You would have thought they would have carried the 7S shocks and rack over to the 8s.

  11. I have had an Trek Allant 8S for 2 months or so now and absolutely love it. I recently traveled to North Georgia mountains and climbed the hills with ease with 75nm of torque climbing hundreds of feet. I just updated the motors firmware to 85 nm but hard to discern the difference in Florida without hills. The speed motor is very responsive and feels pretty natural. 28 miles per hour is easy to get too. The only problem I have had is with the phone hub. My phone has fallen out a few times when hitting some jarring bumps in the road, and today the phone hub connector plastic clam-shell actually broke, Bosch IMO needs to re-engineer the way the phone is held but I love the concept. This seems to be a flaw in the bike but it is under warranty and will be replaced by the Trek store I bought it from. I am not the only one with this problem, there are a few comments on this problem on the web already. But again, great bike!
